  1. Oh, I am absolutely aware this, don't get me wrong. It's just the buffs to Nyx in that department gives Nekros another thing he's not very good at. I should probably explain why I think Nekros is "not engaging" to me. Yes, Soul Punch is a good CC to knock enemies, but it's locked to a single target and you need to position yourself right to make it efficient, when I could have just shot it with my gun. The passive could potentially be really good, but it knocks away the enemy you want to kill to heal your Shadows, which makes Shadow management hard and the 25% execute doesn't really help much either. Terrify I feel like doesn't do anything at all. The CC is stupid and the armor strip isn't noticeable even when you spam the ability. I also don't feel like I should waste a mod slot to make a bad ability good, since the 60% is actually really helpful for a slow but it also means I have to run another augment. Desecrate is undeniably amazing, but it's a toggle ability so it's literally just press and done. You don't think about it while it is up and you get free Health/Energy Orbs plus resources. You're also expected to run Despoil in any given build, so it's actually hindering in the sense that you lose an automatic mod slot. Shadows of the Dead, while I absolutely love as an ability, I feel is only really beneficial with Shield of Shadows on. Yes, the shadows aren't meant to replace you in fighting. Yes, the 90% DR is amazing and recasting to heal your shadows is not that big of a deal and keeps you engaged. But take away Shield of Shadows for a moment. What exactly does the ability do? You summon 7 dead enemies with depleting health bars, whose damage output is probably not noticeable unless you were doing something like Steel Path. I'm not sure if I'm hundred percent correct on this, but it feels like you're stuck between two possibilities with this ability: either stick on Shield of Shadows to make the ability usable and restrict yet another mod slot, or remove it and be stuck with a useless ultimate. Nekros has such an issue with his abilities in that, while not COMPLETELY useless, he relies a lot on his augments to give him momentum and it restricts a lot of what he can do and what do build for. I'm not saying he's useless, and he most certainly has his perks, I just wish I didn't feel so useless playing as him.
  2. I'm not sure why this would even come up, but the Nyx tweaks, especially to Mind Control, make me think that Nekros isn't in a good spot right now. I'm not sure how impactful the changes would be, but it feels like Nekros is gonna have the worst minion spawns among the characters that can "spawn minions". Nyx is getting some much needed changes to Mind Control, Wukong has Celestial Twin, Equinox has Duality, Nekros has....90% DR that only comes from an augment and he HAS to manage them. Am I wrong about this? I've been having such a hard time making Nekros engaging to play recently and I'm kinda bummed out, he's my favorite Warframe :(

  4. Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing more of these things, even though the only ones I own are the Ki'teer Sekhara and the Vitus Emblem. One thing I'd like to see is a sekhara that acts as a sort of digital extension for a shoulder pauldron. Imagine a mixture of Chroma Dynasty's shoulder pads and the Sister Ephemeras, and it could pulse or "breathe" similar to an LED keyboard. I'm...rather surprised these aren't seen more often, either as small add-on's to Deluxe collections or just small animations added to badges for Operations. The right ones could really spruce up fashion frame in an unexpected way. EDIT: Or for example an effect that can be added to an existing Emblem. The Glassmaker Sekhara, giving your Warframe a "glass like" sheen
  5. If you don't mind me asking for clarification, what exactly do you need help with? Are you having trouble finding a specific goal to reach? An item? A weapon? Are you stuck at a certain point in the game? Perhaps something on the Star Chart? Are you trying to find something to do that ISN'T playing Warframe?
  6. Thank you for the update, and the hot fixes. Thank you for fixing the Dark Split Sword as well, that's been a really big one. Very happy with the update so far. For next time, can you please look at: Fixes: Excalibur Umbra Transference. When transferring as the Operator, if you go some distance away from Umbra and return to him, you will appear at Umbra's previous location rather than the Operator's new location. This makes it extremely clunky to use Transference as Excalibur Umbra. This also only occurs when you are NOT the host in a squad. Possible script errors related to the Oxylus? Inviting other people to your squad will result in multiple of the invitation sent messages to appear in the textbox, in random amounts. Not sure if this means it sends multiple invites or not. Certain spots of the Kubrodon marks for conservation in the Orb Vallis are broken, either taking you in broken paths before disappearing or the icon appearing on the map but not being an actual call mark. One such example is close to the Enrichment Labs. K-Drive ragdoll physics work differently in the Plains of Eidolons than in other locations. Changes: Vauban Prime being compatible with the Phased Skin, similar to how Rhino Prime is compatible with his Rubedo skin Would you be willing to extend some "Toggle Prime Details" to regular skins or deluxe skins, such as Valkyr Gersemi? Prisma Twin Grakatas when X)
  7. Exactly what the title says above! I'm looking to expand my arsenal a bit, but this time, I looking for something a little more on the fun side rather than something that is absolutely meta. What do you guys think? I was thinking about building up the Lex Prime or the Aklex Prime because I love the noises they make but I want to hear what you guys think :)
  8. Thank you so much for the help, tested it out in the Simulacrum and it indeed seemed like it worked :D
  9. I gotcha. I realized that the effects I'm referring to don't cover all of the Synth Set, so I think I have this right now. I'll change the title too. So when a Companion marks an enemy with the Mecha Set, target dies and spreads Status Effects to enemies in the radius, those enemies ARE NOT affected by Synth Deconstruct's first effect? I figured that since the Mecha Set belongs to the Companion itself the Status Effects would be coming from them, but now that I think about it, the Status you're spreading to the enemies come from your weapons, not the companions.
  10. Yes, that's what I'm asking for. So status applied by the Mecha set DO NOT meet the conditions for the Synth mod? That's a darn shame if that's the case :(
  11. So let's say I have a Kubrow with both mod sets installed. A marked target from the Mecha mod set is killed and spreads Status Effects to enemies within the radius. Are those enemies now under Synth Deconstruct's effect? Also, as a bonus question, is it absolutely necessary I run the precepts on Kubrows? So for the Sunika Kubrow, is it advised that I run both Savagery or Unleashed?
  12. Would it be worth nabbing the Armor sets? I'm just surprised I've never heard of this until now.
  13. The Trumna Riven is called Trumna Pura-visitis +26.5 Damage vs. Infested +89.1% Damage +62.4% Critical Damage
  14. Maybe Nidus Prime's existence could also be explained by being a much more recent Prime Warframe compared to the others? Since he looks so different from the other Primed Warframes, perhaps this could be the Entrati's attempts to replicate Prime Warframe designs?
  15. Which Riven should I go for? I have no idea what stats to prioritize on the Zenistar :(
  16. Just like the title says. If possible, I'd love to hear what you guys think of the new changes regarding the Galvanized mods, Primary and Secondary Arcanes, nerfs to melee, etc. I've heard lots of different interpretations on the matter and I'm confused as to whether or not they were actually beneficial to gameplay or not. Personally, I think they've been very helpful to have around, especially for stuff like Steel Path content, but I'm just not that positive since I'm not the kind of player that looks into the math or logic behind changes like this. If I had to quickly summarize some points: I enjoy the Galvanized mods a lot. They were easy for me to grind since I enjoy playing Arbitrations and I had quite a bit of Vitus Essence left over to get them, I have not once had to re-Forma or change my weapons in order to incorporate them (maybe I will in the future, but as of now, it hasn't happened yet), and I do appreciate the damage boost. My only complaint is the fact that the effects proc off kill, so it's harder for me in some cases to actually get the effects off of the mods sometimes. Stuff like my Kuva Chakkhurr or my Trumna? Not an issue in the slightest. Stuff like my Boar Prime or Buzlok? Yeah, it's difficult. I quite like the new Arcanes. I think it makes long-Steel Path missions more rewarding and the effects of Rank 5 Arcanes DEFINITELY make the guns feel better, especially Merciless. I again complain about the on kill proc for damage like above, and while I'm not opposed to getting the Steel Essence for it, I'm not sure why I have to spend 15 Steel Essence to open up a slot to USE them when Kitguns need no such requirement. Farming the Arcanes to maximum should already be the trade off for using them since we all know we're using them for their Rank 5 effects, much like normal Arcanes. I'm not too upset with the Melee nerfs. I don't really notice anything and I still feel like they shred no matter what mission it is. I WILL say, however, that I never once slotted both Primed Fury or Berserker into the same build when it was possible to do so. I'd like to hear your thoughts, though. What do you guys think of these changes a little while after their release?
  17. 100% agree with everything about this. One of his biggest problems right now is that fact he needs to automatically run two of his augments in a majority of builds.
  18. 23.7% Nekros usage over here. Not sure if that contributes to much at all, but it's there and I've been a Nekros main ever since I nabbed Nekros Prime as my first Primed warframe. Nekros is a bit of an oddball spot when it comes to rework priority. While he can simply be treated as a one trick pony in the fact that he's "Loot.exe", you can actually make a pretty damn wide assortment of builds for him if you think creatively about it. He can dead set focus on loot with Desecrate and a Petrify Helminth, you can become quite a formidable tank with Shield of Shadows and Blood Altar, and IMO he can be a VERY fun gunslinger frame with emphasis on Terrify and Gloom. Helminth opens up so many options for Nekros that it's kinda crazy. That being said, building around a BASE KIT Nekros is a bit harder to do. Soul Punch is just not a good ability at all, and it's recent passive buff, while technically helpful, is unreliable. Terrify CAN be a very good armor strip, but it's unique CC kinda makes it hard to utilize it's multiplicative nature properly. Desecrate is an AMAZING ability, but it's pretty damn hard to pass up it's augment in ANY build and thus makes Nekros' mod selections more restrictive than one would think. Shield of Shadows is actually a pretty damn good DR ability, but again you need it's augment to actually pull it off, and the Shadows essentially don't do much else unless you focus on a LOT of Ability Strength. Now, while you can DEFINITELY make some incredible builds that focus on the positives of these abilities with Helminth, Nekros more often than not has to rely on that in order to do the things he can do. Do I think he needs a rework? No, not really. At least not right now. With Warframes like Hydroid, Nyx, and Yareli around, Nekros doesn't need a full fledged revision to his kit. I think if anything he just needs a couple tweaks here and there at the very least: Soul Punch needs to be an ability that works in conjunction with his kit (I proposed it be an ability that works similar to his Nekros Prime trailer, which would help proc its new passive a little more reliably and be cool as hell) and a few rearrangements to his augment situation would be nice (Desecrate would utilize Creeping Terrify's effect so much better, Despoil at this rate should be the main drain of Desecrate, etc.). TLDR Nekros could use a few tweaks here and there but with what we have available he DEFINITELY doesn't need a rework at the moment.
