Nightwave is challenging, you guys...

  • Pacing the map for an hour for caches was soooo challenging. 
  • Spamming Saryn's 4th for an hour was reaaaaly challenging.
  • Scanning every flower in sight and later one-tapping a specter was veeeery challenging.
  • Holding my spear for 15 minutes was quiiiite challenging (for my finger).
  • Rushing missions for Simaris was amazingly challenging.
  • Spamming 10 Syndicate missions was incredibly challenging.
  • Completing three nightmare missions with an unnoticeable handicap was unbelievably challenging.
  • Lasting three rounds in ESO was aggressively challenging.

I won't rag on Sortie/Index challenges seeing as they're non-intrusive but neither could seriously be considered challenging. To be clear, this is no feedback for DE. I'll save that for later. This is simply a response to those among us who conflate a challenge with tedium. None of these are hard because they entail zero effort. The key words are patience and repetition.

Well I mean, it's hard to be accurate on that. I guess just start the enemies at level 1000 for survival or defense so at least people can't sit and spray their favourite gun and win, proper setups required etc. Then there's things like time limits on missions ie speed runs for capture, spy, Hydrocaps. That sorta thing I guess.

U@Critiamat ehh, while I agree that fish tasks are as exiting as opening lockers, but my baits are working fine? Do you toss Nora bait into the sea at daytime or something?

Or were you joking?

Edit: or were you hit with a bug then this week challenges do not complete?

I find it very sad when the devs make a "challenging" enemy like the Wolf of S6 by making him just immune to everything that is not direct damage and putting a flat damage reduction on top of armor, every time someone says "don't trivialize the content" I fear they will turn everything into Wolf and Profit Taker.
