I'm curious as to what you define as "Lore," because Warframe most definitely has it. Have you played much of the main story quests?

You know those requiem mods we put into the parazon?

They are sacred worlds used by the ancient orokin to control kuva.

We use them in our parazon to hijack the code, rewriting the commands implanted by the Queen.

Steve said it in the last dev stream when they were immortal mods.

It makes perfect sense also, that a few simple words can control such a weapon as kuva.

Its not like everyone gets to partake of the blood of the old one's.

Side note on lore.... Ordin karas, the beast of bones.

go trigger his hidden messages again... See what was happening to him when he was face to face with ballas and what he was offered and forced to partake in.

Fimers crossed for a beast of bones specter Blueprint on the future 😁

I'm gonna say that the Kuva does something to their souls that overrides or can manipulate genes, including loyalty genes. We know that Kuva can affect a person mentally if used just so and it definitely affects them physically, and genetic 'programming' is only really as much a genetic predisposition, so being able to adjust it isn't out of the question.

Considering some mentions of 'replacing bits', the fact that many have active, raw red scars and the clear mental deviations from the original genetic 'blueprint' for a grineer's personality, I'm going to say that using Kuva to preserve or revive an existing body vs surfing to a new one has major drawbacks, and is deeply caustic onto whatever flesh and soul was revived. In the Grineer's case, this produces an individual that's already a great deal more independent. Combine that with something that explicitly messes with and destabilises the Kuva (in order for us to Kill them), and it's not impossible to suggest that we can hijack their loyalties once we crack the code by using the damaged loyalty gene to our advantage. It's not like these guys follow our orders to the letter, after all.

None of those have anything to do with the gameplay.

Grineer are not Corrupted. They aren't zombies or mind controlled. Moreover if you look through the lore they have quite a record of breaking their loyalty (Arid Eviscerator imprint and the whole Steel Meridian are prime examples).

I believe the 'loyalty gene' is making the person succeptable to propaganda by nullifying critical thinking because it really looks like something a real gene can do.

It's like real life people, just instead of 90% lacking critical thinking with the Grineer it's 99.99%.
