Warframe App crashing on Iphone

Closing or restarting my phone didn’t help. I reinstalled, and when I first started the app after reinstalling it worked. When I logged into Xbox the News page refreshed and the app crashed. Seems like PC news is fixed but Xbox news is not.

Can confirm the fix worked for me.  I did not uninstall or reinstall but certain products may need that.   As for Iphone 8 I did not need to do anything just re-logged in.

Worked for me without needing any kind of reinstall or reset. It does seem like the problem was with the data it was getting from the server, rather than with the app itself. Anyway thanks for the fix.

I can also confirm the app loaded normally for me just now. I had previously uninstalled/reinstalled the app before the fix, but did not need to do so again after the fix. Thanks DE for the prompt resolution.

cant tell if updating to iOS 14 helped or not as it was all over night for me

We found the cause and fixed it. To fix the issue, close and reopen the app, clear the apps cache, or uninstall and reinstall the app. A simple close and reopen should do but if not, try the other methods. Let us know if you're still having the issue so we can investigate further.

Does anyone’s chat not work on the app now? I’m getting an Authentication Error and “IRC Connections Error: 4” as well

I've never gotten chat to work in the app, even before this issue. Whenever I go into the chat window, it simply reads "Offline" and I've never looked any further than that.

If you click on the little power button to go "online" it fails with different errors "authentication error", "irc connection error: 4" And I am logged in on the iPhone app.

Same result though, chat doesn't work.

We could make a separate post about this, maybe it’s happening to others, I’d like to be able to chat with my clan when I’m not home

Go update your app and the issue will be fixed. (at least it is fixed for me)

I just love how the changelog reads: "Maintenance"... no word about issues or the fix.
