The team goes over the blood, sweat, and tears that have gone into Warframe over the past year. Check out some original screenshots and updates!

Thank You, Founders!
http://youtu.be/h56UpRnzM74?t=15m25s

Those of you who are already founders, thank you for all the support you have given throughout the development of Warframe. We couldn't have done it without you!

Your SWAG will be sent out soon.

PC to PS4 Migration Info
http://youtu.be/h56UpRnzM74?t=17m43s

Steve: "a one-time account migration that will copy over your current PC progress to PS4 excluding platinum and dojo clan stuff."

Account migration might not happen day one because the PC and PS4 versions need to be in sync. It's like the Rainbow Bridge that connects Asgard to Midgard. When the PC and PS4 version are the same, the two will be connected and account migration will be open.

Gradivus Dilemma Wrap-Up
http://youtu.be/h56UpRnzM74?t=30m13s

8.4 million missions were completed in total.

Rebecca: "Santaphrax and many many others asked: How does the dev team think it went ?"

Scott: "We had this grand plan across Mars. The Grineer invade. They are giving better rewards, then the war gets to the middle and they are giving equal rewards, then it gets to the other side and Corpus are going to push back. That all went in the toilet first day. The players decided and the players pushed. We had to scrap all the database plans that we had and come out with new rewards. We didn't have a winner that we wanted, we just had a plan of how we thought the event should go."

Rebecca: "Some players were saying that 100 missions might have been a little much."

Scott: "We're new to this. We want events to be fun, and it's hard to predict what the right amounts are and how things will play out. "

The Gradivus Hacking
http://youtu.be/h56UpRnzM74?t=33m10s

Rebecca: "Monday night we had an issue and we had to scrap 4 nodes."

Steve: "Some guy had some Greedy Milk in his cereal in the morning."
Scott: "Someone decided they wanted to mess with the event. We caught him. He's gone. We're sorry that it happened, and I was sad that the event got tainted that way."

"Don't Muck with Ruk!" Fight Update Preview

Coming Next Update
Devs: "Might not be as easy as it used to be. He means business."

Quick Questions
http://youtu.be/h56UpRnzM74?t=40m30s

Zachles asked, "Will the invasions be returning?"
Devs: Yes.

As random alerts?

Devs: Maybe.

What is the Zanuka Project?
Scott: Yes. (To be determined...)

Lyssa asked, "Will we be getting regular inbox spam From Ruk, Alad, and friends?"
Steve: Definitely more of a story device.

When is the losing faction's gun's going to come out?
Devs: Unfortunately, those plans were lost in the battle. We'll have to wait and see if the corpus can recover.

Can you explain the new damage armour model a bit more?
Steve: The top goal is to make standard weapons have strengths or weaknesses along the axis of damaging armour, or damaging health, or damaging shields. Since we're going to change the damage model, lets fix some long-term problems.

Trading Kiosk Concept Art

Sheldon: "You'll be able to trade mod cards, keys, and parts. No final products, rarity for rarity."

Scarf Physics Fixes
http://youtu.be/h56UpRnzM74?t=49m44s

Steve: "Definitely something that we are going to work on."

Codex
http://youtu.be/h56UpRnzM74?t=53m5s

Rebecca: "Karma 2605 asked, moving forward, assuming that the Codex helps out by adding smaller tidbits of lore and helping create a clearer picture, will Warframe attempt to provide more story content and in a clearer fashion?"

Steve: "Right now, it's a gear item that you activate. You switch to a new targeting mode. You can stealth around, you can move around. You can pick what you're going to scan and that adds to the number of scans that you've got in your codex right now."

Tweaks to the New Player Experience
http://youtu.be/h56UpRnzM74?t=56m4s

Scott: "Another version of the tutorial that we're working on."
Scott: "Going to do something that segregates the old players from the new players."
Scott: "Making sure that players are ready for battle beyond Mercury is the goal."

Are there peaceful human colonies in the Warframe Universe?

Thank you! Feels really nice that DE actually cares about us Founders. :)

I've also sent 12 bug reports within my 9 months of playing this amazing game. All of them have been fixed, especially those ones that you can get out of the map.

That trailer is going to end up being 4 minutes, correct? Consider me very interested. Heavier dedication to lore and development of who we are fighting, what are their goals, and why we oppose them is something I care very deeply about.

Also, really amped about Warframe skins finally becoming a thing.

Missed most of the livestream because of the time switch done here in europe recently (1 more added)

So i remark on what i saw at the end and now saw so far while rewatching it.

-On civilians: So Steve said there are definetly third party colonies and factions, which are our primary goal to protect. Okay that's nice to know. HOW ABOUT THROWING THAT IN THE LORE? Seriously, just take a few of the nice concept art bits you have lying around. Scan them. Put them in the lore with some quick informations about idenpendent colonies and put them in the game and on this website. Like showing a large city with flying cars (not boxy Corpus style) and said informations.

That would take maybe 2 or 3 days and you not only expanded your lore. You also made it easier for players to actualy give a damn about stopping Corpus, Grineer and Infested.

-Trailer bit at the beginning: So was that excal still alive when he was cut to pieces? Then again we still have noe clue about what ever there are people inside the Warframes or if they are bio-technological robots. Stop being mysterious! Finaly give us some straight informations damnit. Also i guess i did the right thing not supporting that *excrement*-head Alad.

-Early build: Ha i knew the Lex was not fitting into the overall game's aesthetic. So like Lato and Burston it is aswell is a left over from a previous art direction. Also impressive how good some of the game looked even back then.

-PS4 launch: I still think it's a bad idea to release this game on PS4 when it isn't really finished (open beta and constant changes). You can get a very dedicated and loyal playerbase with PC games, but when it comes to consol you can easily lose players forever quickly. So yeah, i think your overeagerness to throw this game on the new hyped up consol generation might backfire.

Just imagine what would happen if you pull something like the stamina change on consol only players. You might never see them again before Scott could fix it.

Edit:

-Some stuff going on in the office: Nice to see everyone working hard.

-The Gradivus Dilemma: Steve said the gameplay was spectecular. Well definetly not at my end. The event was either a massive frustration for early players (can't remember how many mastery 2 and 3 players i had to revive) who can't go up against level 50 Grineer and Corpus specialist enemies. or a total borefest for high level player who just rushed through these levels to be done with them quickly because of how repetetive and boring it was to run that one map (with one little variation) over and over.

Steve talks about how cool it was to run with allies into battle and all the great moments of support. But we have to remember that these were 1 in a 100 situations, which were enjoyable. The rest was watching braindead AI enemies trying to shoot each other while pointing in the wrong directions.

Instead of showcasing large scale battles the event highlighted all the problems the game has with enemy AI and displaying larger battles.

Sure it is fun to see a Scorpion pulling down a Corpus Tech, or running past rollers without staggering you. But most of the time i just ran past them to be done with the damn level often killing everything before the AI partners could even get into the "oh i have to shoot these now" mode.

It wouldn't have been so bad if we actualy had some variation in the event, instead of that ONE map. Like having a defence mission with the AI supporting us or cracking open secruity cells to release a bunch of AI friends while having to escort a high level Napalm trooper.

But nope, just ONE and the same extermination over and over. The idea of the event is nice and i liked the reward (especialy getting a Flux Rifle), but the repetetive nature of that one mission killed it for me a lot.

I hope that besides remembering those good moments we had, you also understand the frustration some had and why we definetly did not find it "awesome". It was more "okay".

-Ruk: Well looks nice, but i hope you guys remember how annoying and despised the Napalm trooper and Scorch allready are. However i find it funny you think he is easy. Seeing how he is one of the more challenging bosses in the game right now because of the bullet attractor he throws at you.

First off: You guys earned MASSIVE respect points in my book by freely admitting that you got some things with Gradivus wrong. A developer that can recognize when they screwed up, and accept input on how to improve, is a developer that can make forward progress toward great games.

100 missions for event? It was both a good number AND too high. It was a good number for people that play MMOGs hardcore 8+ hours a day. I have no life at all and managed to turn in something like 180 missions total. But at the same time, if you look at Mr. Middle Aged Guy With Two Kids And A Long Commute Time, 100 missions in a week is pushing the limits of reasonable. I think the number 100 isn't the problem so much as the fact that it jumped from 25 to 100. Why not have something at 50, like, give them the finished gun but not the free catalyst. So they don't "lose", they just won't win as big. Big rewards for hardcore players are fine, but the payouts need to be more finely graduated to accommodate people with a variety of schedules.

I am curious how the new "3 damage types" paradigm is going to work out when we only have 2 guns. Is it going to become less suicidal to engage advanced enemies in melee, so we could frex optimize our primary for anti-armor, our sidearm for anti-shield, and our sword for anti-flesh? Also, are shotguns and sniper rifles, weapons which are completely reliant on dropping a basic goon in one shot for their usefulness, being taken into consideration here? If you make rainbows 25% less effective, and that causes shotguns and sniper rifles to fall below their one-shot power threshold, then that's actually a 50% nerf since now it takes two shots to kill a basic goon. The function of power to performance is very coarse for big impact weapons while automatics scale quite smoothly.

Oh, and I really really enjoyed having allies to fight alongside that weren't people.  People rush too much and compete with you and kind of make the game bleh.  But playing solo with NPC allies gives a nice "big battle feel".  Mercenary system? Hireable pets?  Build a squad of NPCs to be drop-in replacements for other humans?
