It's Time For A New Plot Twist Don't Ya Think?

How about actual Plot instead of a series of unconnected Twists. Twist too much and you'll throw out your back.

We don't need extra Solar entities. Even the return of the Sentients can wait IMO. Both the Grineer and the Corpus need work. The Lotus and Tenno sympothiezers need work. Right now boss and planet progresson are little more then barley thematically connected zones. The Corpus internal politics got a good boost these last two events, which is progress. What's still missing is the Grineer side of things.

Origin still feels like a hollow shell, populated by nothing but roid clones and bionic men, with a few space monsters from the deep throw in. Darvo is. Good step, toward 'what else is going on', but there is still so much to build up. For one thing an explanation as to why we just don't go dump on Earth and truely obliterate the Grineer Empire. There has to be a reason, we just haven't been given a solid one yet. And keeping the "balance" isn't good enough, its a start but its gotta go deeper than that.

The problem I have with a Lotus betrayal is that we have not true emotional ties to her or the Tenno sympathizers. The only ties we have are those we are told have by marketing materials. Unless DE takes away game mechanics like the Foundry, the "ships" we fly in to missions, and so on, there really isn't much functional to betray. Yes we'll roleplaying and cry faked tears of lament at how bitter and clever a backstabbing we get, but it will be just as cheesy and hollow as... the ending of Mass Effect 3.

You cannot betray an attachment that doesn't exist in the first place.

DE doesn't need to develop a 4th enemy when they still haven't fleshed out the existing three or the context of the setting.

have you read the Stalker's entry in the codex? I've never really trusted the Lotus, probably because of Borderlands and Halo, all these AI women telling us what to do never turns out to be what it seems. but the stalker's entry, once you get those three scans, makes it sound like the tenno aren't exactly the nicest faction. I like to think of us as the good guys, but after slaughtering hundreds of thousands of life-forms across the galaxy, it begs the question: are we really in the right?

guess its more like each faction is some degree of wrong, and the tenno are probably the least so

:O omg This would be the biggest twist in gaming history.

We have a plot twist... its called Stalker's lore...

ExtraSolar beings have been hinted at, just like us being able to leave the Sol system.

DE said we would not leave in one of the more recent livestreams. However maybe these extra solar beings would be the sentients coming back for revenge.

Which one was this? Cause in all the livestreams I've watched they said that they have "no plans to" but that "never say never."

When I read plot twist I was thinking of Lotus being the bad GUY while Stalker is the one we should follow and take down Lotus in return.

uhh no... We killed the Orokin because they made the infested, and used that to kill millions of innocent people in order to kill the sentients... because you know... Orokin being humans and all its always good to just NUKE EVERYTHING!!!

The Tenno are human... Why don't we just huddle around our clan dojo and do a mass suicide? We can save the human race!

Tenno are mutants. Victims of experimenting with the void. All tenno are victims. Victims that became Tenno for a greater purpose that only the masters of the Void would know...
