She sounded more organic and less like someone was speaking canned lines. Also leave my mother out of this was a classic. IMHO the nostalgia glasses are distorting some things in these statements. The new Grineer voices add more hostility and seriousness to the Grineer as a whole. To say it's comedy compared to the old "Hey, leave my mother out of this" is a bit far-fetched. The old Lotus CLEARLY sounded like she was using pre-recorded messages back in CBT when she would say stupid things unrelated to the situation in the exact same tone evety single time. (She still does sometimes). The new system that randomizes pitch makes the patterns a lot less monotonous and sounds like she is directly speaking to you instead of broadcasting voice lines. I do agree that the older voice sounded more organic + friendly + relatable, but that may not be the feeling DE was trying to portray. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Lotus sounded less robotic, Grineer were just dudes with roid overdose and that capture sounds was the one I love in Warframe the most XD But oh well. haha agree and isnt that U7? if so which early, mid, or late? So this is early U7. Grakata is mid late U7 IIRC. I only joined in update 8 though, but it was this video that attracted me to play War Frame.
