xoxcloudxox
Why does the ogris have 540 rockets? ?????
DJ_Redwire
Same reason the Penta does. ... Yep.
theGreatZamboni
You should be more worried the weapon is completely silent, thus the best stealth weapon.
Motakshi
Because "balance is not neccisary." I believe it is because the Ogris uses Rifle ammo. Giant, rocket sized rifle ammo.

MechNexus
You'd think it'd be using sniper ammo by now. Or, hell, shotgun ammo at the least, if people think 100 ammo is too little for a rocket launcher.

Casardis
It's kind of strange because they made a Community Hot Topics near the end of last year where it talked about Miter and Ogris/Torid ammo type, and how they might be better if reversed and such. It seems they might have forgotten about that. XD Edited May 10, 2014 by Casardis

Motakshi
This might be silly but why not change Sniper ammo to something like "Special" ammo and have it encompass rockets/grenades/arrows/sniper ammunition. Would prevent drops being even more diluted while making a little more sense IMO.

It would balance the ogris abit more aswell, because seriously i can sit on a ledge in odd and continuosly fire rockets to wave 50 and still have about 150-200 left

DJ_Redwire
i can somewhat understand for a grenade launcher, but an RPG? lol Wait so you're ok with a grenade launcher having 540 grenades. But you're not ok with a rocket propelled grenade launcher having 540 grenades. I'm a little confused.

Motakshi
I'd say 150~ for the Penta and like 100~ for the Ogris would probably be a decent amount, considering it usually is 1-2 rockets to kill 3-4 people.
Motakshi
whats heavier? a sack full of grenades or a sack full of rockets? I think it's less a weight issue and more of a size thing. 540 grenades would probably be a heap the size of a Tenno. DJ_Redwire
whats heavier? a sack full of grenades or a sack full of rockets? Well, in real life, the rockets probably. But in Warframe, the Penta fires square bricks that have a weak arc and can't travel very far, which indicates to me they're much heavier than they look - whereas the Ogris fires rockets that are not only silent, they appear to be of similar size to the Penta grenades, and would not surprise me if they are mostly hollow. I think it's less a weight issue and more of a size thing. 540 grenades would probably be a heap the size of a Tenno. And that^
Azawarau
lol, prepare for the "540 ammo count is balanced, because you can kill yourself with the rockets" crowd. 540 ammo count is balanced, because you can kill yourself with the rockets In all seriousness though The only place that i think the ogris is totally broken is ODD Its balance is the suicide factor with bullets being able to detonate rockets early Ands if youre using firestorm you have to run like hell to survive Though without firestorm its more viable in non defense/survival missions As for the ammo itself..... I like how efficient it is but i can see an issue there too If it went to sniper ammo id cry Though TBH itd still be efficient as hell as long as they didnt make it a max of 10-30 rockets.... Hupf4
so why even lower the ammo count? who cares if Ogris has 150 or 540 ammo if u can shoot whenever you want? So it wouldn´t make the Ogris worse in any way...

Edgedemon
whats heavier? a sack full of grenades or a sack full of rockets? changes with the rocket. penta seems to fire something akin to the 40mm grenades, but rockets could very well be 25mm ones like the ones from xm25 CDTE, there has even been pistol sized rocket launchers look at the Gyrojet. still they both have to be moved to sniper ammo
