We will probably be lucky enough that some (probably anything after closed Beta and excluding founders) well more than likely be made available. If you weren't there and didn't get the prize you aren't being cheated. That's like complaining about your buddy winning 50 bucks on a slot machine when you didn't even go to the freaking casino. I'm a proud user of a 4-star Snipetron Vandal and personally wouldn't mind if others had a chance to grind to great lengths to obtain the same weapon. This post isn't sufficient support for the vandal exclusivity, because at that point in time the braton and lato were the only vandals, and special variant weapons in general. Well I guess you could go on hoping that they'll be available again. I really doubt they would be though, I'd like a chance at new weapons as much as the next person but personally I'm not particularly bothered about missing the Braton and Lato Vandals. A pellet shotgun with 50% crit chance guarantees crits all the time. And now we have are getting more and more 100% crit chance primary weapons. The 2nd nerf drop it even lower, then the final nail is the loss of 40 damage after going damage 2.0. Sometimes in the possible case when we're not even able to get on the game during the time of said exclusive opportunity, like the beginning of last month when Proto skin for Excal became available, I was looking forward to that for a while. Big fan of Dark Sector and would have been awesome running around in the Hayden skin since Excalibur is my favorite Warframe. I would have bought that skin day 1 in a heartbeat, but unfortunately a personal matter arose and I wasn't even able to access my Ps4 that entire week of the sale. Greatly disappointed yes since there was nothing I could do about it, and I hope they decide to bring it back at least once more. Same for Excalibur prime and other founders gear, I get people paid good money at the start to get these items, but I still don't see why us Ps4 players can't have a chance to do exactly the same. If it cost us just as much as the PC players, I don't see the unfairness at all in Ps4 players getting the Excalibur prime skin, it's not like you PC founders are even going to see us in your game. It may be a port, but the entire game is still in Beta and some of us are spending money on it, I think both platforms deserve a chance to get everything the other has as long as the cost or how you get it is exactly the same. I been playing Warframe since Jan 2013 and I will continue to play since Warframe is by far the best game I've played in years. Actually I can't remember what advertisement I saw, or if it was a video or something on youtube. I just know I saw it... I went to the site, was upset CB was locked, but happy I could get in with founder, and got GM, and from there I just enjoyed it. When OB came along there was literally advertisements on EVERY SINGLE WEBSITE... Like video sites the entire background was Warframe. Youtube had advertisements in the corner mentioning warframe. Warframe just exploded all over the internet, and now no matter where I go all I see is warframe advertisements somewhere. Heck can't even google images now without Warframe pictures showing up at some point in time. Its kinda hard to miss Warframe... with how awesome it looked. Each pellet has a separate chance to prof or make a critical hit. This is why you don't put a BASE crit chance of 50% on a shotgun. It's still decent anyways. rangeless Posted May 20, 2014 Share Posted May 20, 2014 (edited) ...hey....veterans had to deal with a lot of bs too: - bosses used to seldom drop warframe blueprints....making the regular frost one of the hardest frames to acquire...it took me 3 days to be honest. - forma had a 12.5% to drop in t2/t3 ext/raid - damage 1.0 made most guns obsolete unless they ran armor piercing mods - bugs and more bugs than you can ever imagine happening in the present i can go on.... the exclusive stuff means jaaackkkkkkkk. in the long haul, de will release the mods as rewards for nightmare mode.... but hey, de.....WHERE'S PRIMED CHAMBER!? As for weapons, the snipetron vandal was meant to be a last ditch effort to give ppl who want the gun before discontinuing it.....these weapons aren't over the top and there are similar guns in the current market. no power creep there. Venarge Posted May 20, 2014 Share Posted May 20, 2014 I didn't know cause its still considered beta and it seems there is a high amount of exclusive stuff that comes from events that normally a released game would host. This "beta" seems to have hosted a lot of events with a lot of things i cannot obtain and it feels like its slowing down. I understand people like exclusive stuff but there are so many things i never got like the Vandals and exclusive mods that would really help me do more damage. it feels like people have a 50% boost over anyone who joins now. I feel kinda jipped cause this game wasn't advertised to the public enough and i joined in late. I wanted to use the machete for fun even if its weaker then the skana. Event mods seem to be very powerful. It makes me feel like i'll never be as good as everyone else who joined sooner. I know exclusive has to mean something to people but it feels Overly exclusive. It works with GW/WOW/[insert other games with event items here] In these games, people dont create a thread about the items that came during a specific time. Why is it a problem in this game? DE even said that some of the weapons might return in later events. There is no need to make "exclusive" stuff less worthy that people worked hard for. Though im sad about not being able to get excalibro prime The trade thing is kinda meh.. I mean At 10-11 trades? I do 1 trade a day at most Cant imagine using so many most days ._.
