Will There Be Somesort Of Banned Weapon List On The Up Coming Solar Rail Pvp?

They will not have firestorm yet. If you have dodged and they have firestorm you're mostly likely only to get the end blast meaning only your shields will take a hit. Then since they have to wait to fire another missle, you can unload a magazine straight at them.

 

In the event that they do have firestorm then you should also have some mods ranked that you can use against them.

you know... penta.. the one that explode whenever they want?

For the love of god man dodge! It's a bright glowing object you can see it from the otherside of the room. Unless they plant the grenade/s and wait for someone, you should be able to survive five glowing objects. Not to mention that you can see the grenade/s on the floor. If they have mods at this point so should you.

If you are not the host, and someone has been firing the Penta like no tomorrow, the grenades may not disappear and just litter the ground everywhere.

... To be fair, doesn't being visible after casting Invisibility completely defeat the point of casting Invisibility? They should vanish completely regardless of their energy color.

Taking damage and making effects with weapons should give away their positions.

It's for the fairness of the game. I mean if you had to fight aginast someone who you can't see, and has an orthos that can eliminate you within 3 or 5 strikes, you are bound to get furious because of it.

People are bad at this game, most people only rely on overpowered weapons and their warframe ability to win a match instead of focusing on the way their playing. As for me, I am unbeatable in PvP, LITTERALLY, I can beat you in any way possible regardless the weapon you're using or warframe. I'm ready for solar rails PvP and any weapons are welcome against me, you're still gonna lose anyway...

yea like you can see it through walls, plant behind a corner and you will know... or players will just shoot anywhere near your leg using their ogris. And let me guess... you have already planning to use these weapon in that mission right? and now you are afraid of it will really happens..

yea ogris and penta will still one shot you from the beginning... i mean like you have 100 shield and health and the weapon damage they have is like 350*penta* or 650*ogris*...

 

False, your mods will come online as you play, you aren't actually leveling up, you are just unlocking the mod points.

So zephyr would still start out with 450/450

Depends on the connection and any improvments DE has made. Just like any other pvp the lowest ping wins.

 

I feel like it would be fun to have a zephyr/angstrum setup for carpet bombing enemy tenno behind cover.

I tried that and angstrum takes too long with out mods and zephyr can't fly with out mods.

No, I plan ways around someone using these type of "OP" weapons. I will use what ever weapon I like to, so it's either a bow (I don't like to use thunder bolt), rifle or melee (my favourites).

 

If some one has planted it cleverly then they are just a good player. It would be no different then planting a mine in any other pvp except you have to watch it.

Recently i watched the Devstream 29 recap and i saw the sample clip of the solar rail pvp and my first thought of it is: " IT IS SO COOL AND IT LOOKS FUN!!!", and i like how they are fighting each other using the normal weapon like karak and braton only, without using any OP weapon.

so will it happens? make it become a pole for all the player in the forum to decide what to be banned. because i wouldn't like it when the game is full of people using soma, boltor prime, penta, ogris,brakk,detron etc etc...

or at least make a separated damage system what differs between pvp and pve.. * because i wouldn't want my beloved gun nerfed just for the sake of pvp balance...

thoughts? guys?

*ADD ON: and oh yea DE, ever think about adding a AI into loki's decoy to make it actually moves around luring other player? because the current one is too obvious and its too easy to be killed by enemy when standing still.

 

And to allow us to have up to 3 decoys e,e

We may not start with the mods, but you can prioritize them by placing them in the first slots. Tailwind and gunslinger would go in first, for example.

Prioritizing your mods is another example of clever playing.

 

Clarifying my aim: If many more people get concerned about "OP" weapons arfter the update, a separate damage system would be they way to go instead of restricting the weapon choices.

im sorry but any clan or alliance competing should have players with and access to said op weapons

 

if yore in a clan that doesnt and youre focused on ds competition youre doing it wrong... very wrong... imo

Only way to balance pvp in this game, is to either restrict players from using certain weapons (like dual ichor, ogris, acrid etc..) and restrict some elemental mods (like toxic damage and bleed). Or nerf them in that way so that they would act differently in pvp and not 1 shot everyone.

Perfect reasoning to have a separate damage system so we don't have to restrict anything or balance existing damage.
