Cat_Jam
I was out for a stroll through a Grineer mining colony when all of a sudden: Seems like it happens to more, too:
Heyrey
I noticed that also. They make a handy shortcut if you know where you are going. I'll look in the update notes for anything explaining this.

rayzwingz
considering how much they pay for cloning since the Tenno killed bilions of lancers etc they might have buget issues(considering Earth is a ruin and people destroy fomorian cores constantly which cost a crapton)
noveltyhero
Honestly best thing to do here is replace that glass but make all glass there destructible for better shortcuts :)

(PSN)Bobtm0
You fool! Clearly, those are high tech, state-of-the-art, air windows. Both very costly to develop and install, this is the purest show of craftsmanship in all the Grineer empire and you go insulting this in such a manner. For shame. When not properly installed, the properly engineered air of the air window just intermingles with the non-expensive free and non-window air around it, making one look quite improper and rather low on funding. One must always look their classiest when entertaining.

sorq
Because grineers don't have spare troops to clean the glass daily.Their environment is too dirty that it must be cleaned.

[DE]Whirrrrr
Lancer #19536 dropped a bag of rollers in the corridor while on the way to fix the mining machine. Seriously though, it's intentional :) In sabotage you can attack the mining machine defenders from above now, as well as from the large door which was closed before. Osuenn
ok then, but I preferred the air window explanation though...

Sure it speeds it up nicely...But Its just perpetuation of rushing. Couldn't the windows just be corpus glass material to break with higher caliber weapons. and couldn't the big door be a hard material any explosive weapon could punch a tenno sized hole in the center to add different map interactivity depending on loadouts? Sure it might only take one or two extra rounds to reach your target. But it makes you feel like you're doing something other than a racetrack. mrecentric
Why waste horsepower on reflections which don't make sense? Just make all of those four window groups in the screenshots open instead of just two of them?

Maybe, instead of no glass, a breakable glass will be more realistic?

Would it be possible for you to replace the 50/50 set of windows with four windows that have breakable panes? Seems unfair that only the Corpus can manufacture breakable glass.
