Where Does Warframe's Appeal Come From ?

The art style and sword + gunplay made me sign up for the beta

From this trailer

Then the wall running really sucked me in no matter how flawed.

Mainly from this trailer

Anyone says, you can't control it and go where you want, is no skilled wall running Tenno. Period!

Mod and customization complexity is what kept me here after the mod overhaul.

^^^^^^^^^^ SO WELL SAID

great parkour video btw

sadly that video makes me even more upset that coptering is still ingame however =[

Fast paced grindy easy shooter to play with friends.

If my friends stopped, or the game involved too much trigger-reactions, or everything was easy to max, I'd probably stop playing, as I have better options for solo/challenging/quick progression games, but very few options for GOOD games that are good to just sit back, relax, and blow S#&$ up for the offchance at some loot.

What do you think attracts people to this game?

What sucked me in : the artstyle , faceless space ninjas , so kewl

At first, I wasn't so sure if I liked how the characters looked - especially with the original "Bloom" graphical feature.  But I couldn't stay away from the pretty colors and the endless rain of the dismembered parts of bad guys.

and the gameplay, 99 % teamoriented

no stupid hunting of opponents and/or cheaters ...

btw: i registered, played a few rounds, looked at the plat-prices and left for 3 month

thinking about a few times inbetween and get remembered about the game by mails

rhino-prime-set appeared, i waited, jumped back into the game and get the information that everything can be get also by free 2 play

checked again, bought some cheap plat somewhere, checked, played deeper into, get good results about the plat-issue and get totally hooked after buying the rhino-prime in 3 stages, and i was really positively astonished that the prime-sets can be bought only once

and today i know, you can play warframe expensive or a bit cheaper by using the logic part of the mind and by using patience =)))))))))))

I wans't very interested by Warframe at first. It's a friend that convinced me to try the game.

And now, I'm still here !

I was kinda fond of the gameplay. I only wish Parkour was exploited more.

Same here I'd like parkour to be more than just a gimmick

after ME3 died, i looked for another PvE shooter. since Warframe was the only one F2P at that time, i could instantly test.

reasons i got hooked:

- PvE only, no PvP

- parkour style movement   (wallrun !!!)

- awesome abilities   (flashy, powerful, useful, ... )

- MODifiable equipment

reasons i'm still playing:

- mostly PvE, i don't like the new DS invasion

- parkour style movement

- MODifiable equipment

- awesome abilities

- tradeable Platinum, (fully F2P now)

I don't consider Warframe a very fast game, unless you meant by rushing though missions. Infact the first time I played this game, I noticed that it was extremely easy and nothing was punishing.

I stayed because of how I could still fulfill my vanity though armors, cloaks, and colors while still being completely covered.

Oh and Banshee. I have a thing for sound abilities.
