Has The Focus System Been Abandonned?

I feel like focus have already been implemented. The new agumented mod for Vulkar for example. Reach a certain xp cap and release a X amount of damage. Or atleast a part of the systems usage overall. But will focus be based off mods to the abilities, mods of other abilities? Or simply be on the abilities are, and make them intense?

I think it was something closer to giving fframes classes and stuff like that

Focus only makes you more Op.

Buffs and trade offs that can further make your frame more specialized or just general boost.

 

But please don't cry for nerfs after that.

Luckily DE bumped up the level cap already :p

Just add more diverse enemies that don't need infinte scaling to be chalenging.

Yeah then people complain about the Grineer dog guys ?

 

People complains for everything...

 

I suppose that if DE put up a magical Haro enemy which, if killed, could grant us happiness, love and good health in real life...

 

...people would complain TOO said that some of them worked hard to achieve such things. Or that Haro doesn't fit the Space Ninja Theme

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

(Obviously after having farmed the hell out of that Haro first...)

It is the same with Infested when they got the flying ospreys.

Their damage was not much stronger than old infected ancient which can leave lethal pools of gas all around you even after they died.

In fact those old infested ancient toxic puddle was so strong it could 1 shot or 2 shot the cryopod if you failed to kill them far enough.

 

Now the ospreys are nerfed so hard, that the pitiful osprey is now just good as a troop carrier. Rather than a legitimate threat barring you playing till they are level 60 of course.

 

But oh well.

Why I feel like syndicate, already take FOCUS system affinity things?
That xp grind and the mod we can buy by syndicate...

Focus was planned like any xp stay to weapon or frame,then can be used to unlock
mod or tree or something by that xp collected.
If my past memory not broken yet or something.

I stop watching livestream and just play along,swimming,drowning with bug in game. : ]

I don't think so, man : "Syndicates" are the renamed "Proxy wars". They always said it will be for people with maxed gear who think "now what?".

 

Gosh! So many unanswered questions : focus,swimming,sentients,parkour & stealth,Regor,Mios,...I must watch a devstream that clarify all of this, otherwise my head will explode.

people already focus on 1-2 abilities... more focus just makes this even more stupid...at soem point you need a bunch of loki frames each each fo them has a different specialisation... ???

Syndicates are being used to determine how grindy the focus system should be.

They are probably tweaking it so it's 8 to 9x harder to max out for the players that grind alot, causal players don't enter the equation.

 

90% of the time is wasted balancing the grind multipliers when compared with syndicates, 10% of the time is used to determine it's functions, to do the programing, interface and it's usability.
