Does Killing Enemies Using Your 4Th Abilities Increase The Chance Of A Rare Mod Dropping?

for the past few weeks, I've noticed that whenever I or someone else spam/use his/her 4th ability, I get a rare mod like 70% of the time, when I was doing an invasion with my mag prime against corpus, when I spam my 4th on a large swarm on enemies, I almost always got a rare mod, I ended up with 2 cores, 1 stance and jagged edge, yesterday I joined a squad with a BS spamming ash, I got 2 rare cores and bleeding willow, so did anyone noticed this too or is it just RNG?

no no no ...on other hands you have more chance of getttng mods because spamming skills kills more mobs
