I remember reading somewhere that they were gonna tweak Zephyr somehow so there is that. Also aim gliding will effect enemy accuracy so it's not just a travel mechanic. On top of all that, while it looks fairly complete, it's still a WIP and we truly don't know how it will actually work, personally I am very much looking forward to this!

Since nobody else has said it yet, I will. *ahem* That wasn't flying! That was falling with style!

 

Not sure how to feel about that... are we calling it a Bullet Jump? Bullet Jump then. Not sure how I feel about it. I mean, if that stays in, as it is shown in that clip, won't it trivialize all the other parkour stuff? The same way coptering and, to a lesser extent, aerial melee do now? No need to bother with wallclimbs when I can just jump most heights in the game.

Alright so, bulletjump and the glide looks awesome.... but why would I even bother using the wall hopping now when we can just use that?

I thought the point was to let parkour make a comeback, not flying across the map in 2 moves.

 

Mind you, it looks freakin awesome. 

 

Why wallrun when you can just copter? Same difference.

oh this threads, should i dream about which im not able to or is it possible to expirience it instead of hearing things which arent here allready since december 2014

its really a awsome carrot since december 2014, really ... i remove it constantly when it appears ... this is not really funny

I think we saw that in dev-stream.. your warframe glows when you do parcour, just like when you are channeling melee.

I think it's too much.

Once again, mobility abilities are made obsolete.

 

I mean, look at that! it's like every frame in the game can use Tail Wind!

 

It's not Parkour anymore, we're back to flying across entire tiles in one jump

All in all very little reduction to our ability of movement has changed, it just looks better. My argument against coptering was that it always just flat out looked stupid - whirlwinding around the map with your weapons out - and that it limited your choice of weapons because you HAD to pick the ones best for coptering.

 

This doesn't have those limitations, but it has the strengths of it. I look forward to learning these moves and kicking &#! like a badass ninja warrior.

For the most part it does look better however that glide looks off putting. Being able to aim in the air is great but for it to also increase the distance you go by gliding makes it look just as bad as coptering.

 

Watching this video: https://vine.co/v/evt9BAJKVlI You see how far you can go from just a simple jump from a height. By the looks of things there should be a giant 'S' on the cape instead of the grineer symbol.

 

Go to say though, the physics look like they're going to fun to mess with.

Glide looks a bit off, I also hope that they eventually show us wallrunning again, wallhop looks good for transitioning heights but that's about it.

 

Aside from that it looks quite good actually, but it does seem a bit too floaty.
