So you guys got rid of Draco yet you shame players who are trying to level in PUG...

Title. I've seen this a lot recently.

Spy missions suck so I can see why people don't want to level that way- yet they don't have the ability to complain to dev's until they change it like the "real" gamers do who complained until Draco was gone. Now they complain because they have to "carry" the "noobs" who are "not on their level".

Did the devs actually to shame people leveling on PUG, or am I misunderstanding something. Personally, I don't care if you are leveling stuff on PUG. I only care if people at least make an effort to pull their weight.

I haven't seen much of this, personally. MR 13 lets me put serration or the likes on whatever weapon i'm trying to level so its not totally useless, and somewhat useful in mid level missions.

I have never seen anyone complain about having to carry another player.  When they get tired of it they just stop reviving them. Plain and simple

If people are complaining about having to carry people in Spy, that only begs the question why they're doing a Spy mission while set to Public in the first place. That's basically....ugh. Imagine the most aggravating escort mission in any video game ever, and then multiply it by an off-leash dog park.

i wonder if i have pissed of players cuz i often use sorties to level primary, secondary or melee but only one at time BUT i always bring my best gear to compensate for one non maxed item

Yeah, Oceanum has been my go-to spot for a while now.

Plus I just got a Neo V3 (Tigris Prime and Galatine Prime parts) there, and can scan Snowleafs for Apothic farming.

Now let me preface this by saying this is just my opinion, but I think the bigger issue here is that if people, "don't want to carry" people possibly under-equipped for a mission, then why they using PUG's? It's pretty commonly accepted that going in random groups is going to get you a mix of people. And getting a mix of people means it's likely you're going to get at least one person who either doesn't know what they're doing or is poorly equipped in general.

If that kind of thing makes you mad, just run with people you know or run alone. I don't mind helping people. It is, in fact, now my job to help people, so I like running on PUG's because it gives me that chance. But if that kind of thing doesn't suit you there are other options. Including Recruiting channel.

I mean, there are several ways to level up your Items and I'm sure that one Ember with infinite World on Fire wont get mad at you "leeching" because let's face it- when there's someone in PUG 1-shotting everything with the press of a button even a fully ranked+fully modded player will be "leeching"(not killing as much).
I like the way the OP is all about makin assumptions about OTHER people "THEY dont wanna do spy" "THEY can't complain" "they they they" just admit it, it's you.. because if it isn't.. why did u make this thread?

Just do a random dark sector defense or smth.. or excavation and use your abilities to help protect the Excavation pods.. BOOM u're contributing. I've never seen people complaining about this during missions before.

Edit: oh and about Spy... I can see when people come from when they get frustrated in PUG Spy.. imagine u're gloriously avoiding the alarms.. and BOOM someone strolls right into a laser. This is why Spy is best done solo, less people = less chances to mess up.

To avoid being shamed for bringing a bad player for leveling, and stop him or her from being shamed, I deal as much damage as possible, and make sure the mission is a success. There's only a problem when you're a liability. My gear is always sufficient, unranked or not.

Is spy actually the best way to level right now? What's the average rate of affinity gain?

That's what I'm thinking as well... but the wording... But honestly, it is foolish to complain about such things. You can easily carry people through all but the highest level content, in which case you form your own lobby or something.

That's what I do. I'll go out of my way to revive others so long as it doesn't cost the mission, but if I am spending too much time reviving and putting myself at excessive risk doing so then sorry.

Your trying to level in a PUG Spy ? ( I have never heard of this) but for interest sake I'll assume your referring to just any mission that is a PUG.

We all know that a PUG is 4 random people doing the same mission and sometimes your going to get someone who is an asshat.

I don't see how this has anything to do with the loss of Draco (RIP dear friend) , it has already been replaced with other nodes.

How do you even carry someone?

As long as they are not dropping like flies every 5 seconds it would be like you are playing solo.

As for spy missions if you didn't set it as private you are going to find the occasional person who charges right into the laser fence while you are 2 steps away from the mainframe.

Find me on the PS network and play with me. I like to carry newer players and play a lot.

I always bring a capable loadout with at least a lvl 30 well-modded weapon or a versatile frame for levelling. That way my team can count on me pulling my weight.

I have no sympathy for r0 frames with no survivability mods and no decent weapons with firepower for high level missions. Low level missions I couldn't care less.

Personally I love doing spy and extermination missions they do give lot of exp especially when you stealth kill everything
