How to Survive in Conclave?

First off: Are you in recruit conditioning mode? Recruit conditioning mode is only accessible to those who are conclave syndicate rank 2 and under. It is a toggle on the bottom right of the pvp terminal screen.

Second: Take a look at this older pvp guide on movement. It's still relevant and in my opinion is still the best video guide to understanding pvp movement.

Tips for a mindset to survive and succeed at FFA: Do not just shoot at every single target you see across the map. You're just going to mark yourself on the minimap + attract the ire of other players and get shot.

Players easily get tunnel visioned into fighting the guy right infront of them, and can get picked off by a third player, especially if the third player doesn't appear on the minimap due to not having fired a shot yet. You want to take advantage of this.

[And on the flipside, never *ever* find yourself as monkey in the middle of a gunfight. Get out of there!]

Consider how you enter fights. Try not to attract attention unless you can pick someone off. Watch the minimap for groups of players already busy shooting each other and jump in as players are low, or if someone tries to retreat out of that fight, hunt him down.

I uploaded this full FFA match earlier. Try to spot where I decide to *not* engage in fights or to disengage.

Special note. In this match I am playing a +health valkyr prime with no current leap mod for 0.9 mobility. This is average mobility and the default mobility value for most frames. I am not especially fast by the numbers, but I can still work the room by retreating and choosing which fights to engage in.
