But seriously, It's cool to see that an idea like this was grown into what we saw over the weekend.  I'm sure many people had the same idea, but I feel like this really does illustrate that DE lurks in the shadows and keeps tabs on what people wanna see in the game.  Plains of Eidelon looks like its gonna be pretty dang awesome and I just wanna say don't stop changing up what this game is, one of my favorite parts of Warframe is watching it evolve from closed beta/alpha whatever 4+ years ago, its just cool to see it grow and grow with it.

Naw they might not have read anything about it at all, having a town as an extraction/deployment point is just natural for a game like Warframe IMO.

I got to speak to reb and steve at pax aus particularly about this idea - sending them is concept

- Operators turning to warrior esque mindset.

- modular weapons.

- variety of open world/areas with variety of neutral creatures.

a lot of people wanted open world, and DE said it was something they wanted to do as well, once they had the means to do so.

still, I was convinced it would likely never happen: sometimes it feels good to be wrong!
