I am a beta founder, why don't I get my Ex Prime?

I've probably never posted on either of my accounts, but something has been bugging me since I cloned to PS4 as soon as we had the option.

I adore this game, and not filling this request won't make me stop playing. I've contributed a lot of money to the game and this also won't stop.

I bought both the Hunter and Disciple founder packs as soon as I could iirc (can't find a purchase history). I've enjoyed Excalibur through all of his buffs, nerfs, reworks, and even through him being taken from me. I understand that his prime needs to remain vaulted as it was a reward for founders. What I don't understand is why his prime has never been implemented on PC founder accounts cloned over to console.

I payed quite a bit of money for my Ex Prime, why don't I get to have him? I was able to keep my fashion items (shoulder emblems). Why wasn't I able to keep my Excalibur Prime frame? It's not an issue with different versions (why we don't have x-plat play), and aside from the base Excalibur build already in the code there is no change.

I'm sure this has already been covered in some video or newsletter or post I've missed, but for the sake of my founder's wallet, explain it one more time on my post. Why don't I get to have what I paid for?

P.S. in the event you 'Secret Santa' Ex prime to my PS4 account, it's hayzoose_kreest

Because when ever account migration has been offered in the past DE explicitly stated "founders exclusives" and a few other things we're not going to be ported over to console accounts.

Why? Not 100% sure. But its likely something to do with not wanting to make it available on console in any form to avoid rustling feathers etc. I'm sure there is some other reason along with that. Its not like you wern't warned before hand though. It was pretty clear what the deal was with account migrations. You likely won't be getting your founders stuff back.

As you'll notice in my post above. Excalibur Prime was the only founder item that didn't transfer, others did. I'm aware that there was a disclaimer at clone, that's not what I'm asking. I'm trying to get a dev or someone who had their hands in it tell me why the decision was made to specifically exclude Excalibur Prime from the cloning procedure.

Interesting, to my knowledge none of founders gear was copied over. Wouldn't be the first time I've been wrong I guess.

Then you might want to PM a dev about the issue. They don't normally respond directly to threads. Doubt you'll get much of an answer that sheds any light on the issue though. I'm just curious as too why you are asking that now, so very long after the fact when at this stage its kind of a moot point.

though in retrospect I'm 90% sure none of the founders gear got copied over

It's been on my mind, work is slow, if I was home I'd be playing. Curious with all of the recent updates to the game why it still hasn't been implemented. like I said, it won't make me stop playing, I'd just like a solid answer after all this time.

Excalibur, Lato, and Skana definitely weren't ported over to consoles. Don't know about badges and sigils.

I'm fine with not having Lato or Skana as there are a plethora of other weapons that are better or have different specialist versions (prisma, vandal, dera, etc.). Excalibur Prime is pretty large portion of content to have removed (at that time) in the same context.

Probably because they wanted to avoid Founders cloning their accounts to Consoles then selling said Console accounts for real money wile still keeping their PC one intact.

Can you imagine how much a Founder account would be worth if sold? Tho the person would still have to live with the risk of DE finding out and deleting/banning both accounts.

Because it was never intended to be implemented, that's why. DE was pretty clear in that regard.

On having checked the list of gear that wasn't included in the transfer, it appears none of the founders gear was copied over. Which is exactly what I thought. Wouldn't make sense to copy over half of it but leave out excal. It would be an all or nothing deal.

I feel like you would know that seeing as you would actually have said items on your console account if they had been transferred over...

The reason is extremely simple. PS4 started a lot later then PC and never had the chance to get the founder packs. So they made it an equal playing field by not allowing them to be transferred over.

Otherwise there would be discussions about console founder packs and if the consoles got founder packs again then the people on PC would start to riot.

Result: items got restricted from going to consoles.

Also, did you buy founders twice? Because the account you are posting with here is Hunter tier of founders, which never got access to Excal P. So either you bought the Hunter tier for this PC account AND bought it for your now transferred console account.

Something is fishy here...

Scratch that, I'm dumb.

I got lost in endless C&Ping of quotes. I understand and agree that it would have put me at a slightly higher advantage (one or two stats slightly elevated from regular Excalibur), if I hadn't been able to clone over *every other item*.

You can't have an even playing field on console for new players when they are facing players with an extensive warframe and weapons catalog already. I understand that's probably what you were told, but stay with me when I say that makes no damn sense.

Again, I have my founder's badges, but not the items I would have actually paid $100+ for.

Available from the Hunter Tier and onwards, the Founders Packages were the only way to acquire Excalibur Prime, the Skana Prime, and the Lato Prime.

Which tier of founders got access to Ex Prime? Because I'm damn sure if I log into this account on PC right now (if I weren't at work) I could see it.

at the core level the founders items are not implemented within the games code on console.

consoles get their own "exclusives" like jade/sapphire , but founders items are restricted to PC

iif you need a controller, pairing it to work on pc is easier now

And that wouldn't have been a problem if I didn't have a considerable amount more progression on my PS4 account. At the time I cloned, the people I regularly played with only had PS4 accounts because they didn't have PCs that could run the game, so it wasn't that I needed it on a controller (I prefer m&k tbh).

People more mean that it wouldn't be an even playing field in terms of some having founders exclusives on a platform that NEVER had access to them in the first place. Not in terms of having a head start or being more powerful in terms of gear. That's not a valid comparison in a PvE game. It makes perfect sense.

Corrected myself. Excal P was hunter tier, but only Excal P and not the other goodies. Either way, none of the founders gear transferred. Not just Excal P.

They explicitely said founders gear will not be transferred.

I think they said something about exclusivity and sony/ms not wanting something exclusive they could not earn money from.

If you failed to read the post properly then that is on you and noone else

Guys, i am still very aware what the post says. i'm not questioning NOW why it suddenly isn't in my account. I haven't been playing for 3 years as a brick. I am still just curious as to why it was never implemented after the fact, or why it wasn't transferred under the guise of an even playing field. Why was the decision made not to include it? Why was the decision made to never include it?

Because console users never had a chance to get excalibur prime and for the sake of healthy and not hostile atmosphere they made this decision and maybe? idk  some sony and microsoft issues.Thats the only reasons that makes sense.

For the same reasons you've been given repeatedly in previous comments, that are the same answers given to us by DE: They didn't want PC exclusives on platforms that never had access to them in the first place to ensure everyone was on exactly the same level and so as to not rub it in console players faces. Thats the reason to everyone's knowledge and it makes sense. It was never intended to be implemented on consoles at a later date and DE never gave anyone that impression.

There is your answer.
