IDEA FOR NEW QUESTS/EVENTS (THE FALL OF CETUS)

Hey DE.

I would like to suggest a new idea for a quest or a new event.

NAME: THE FALL OF CETUS

CONCEPT: A new species lead by 3 warlords have broken through Cetus' defenses. (This can be represented by a cutscene of an oncoming army destroying the shield surrounding the plains of eidolon and breaching the gates with a super wepon.)

PATHS: Your Tenno will be called upon for assistance from Konzu and Onkko. You can either choose to reclaim Cetus and defend its borders until you can re establish its defences (start cutscene showing your Tenno approaching a half destroyed Cetus. Victory cutscene can show the shield coming back online in a really cool way. Something like the cutscene when you are at junctions an establish travel to other planets.) or choose to wage war against this new species and fight them till they surrender or all die.(start cutscene showing the army of Cetus' and you and your fellow Tenno recapturing Cetus' and showing you take the first step into the unknown past Cetus' shield. Middle cutscene can show the warlords having a council to surrender or continue fighting. You choose on their behalf. If they surrender then cutscene shall end. If not the the fight will continue until you have killed all three warlords who will have there individual death cutscenes. End cutscene shows Cetus' is safe and civilians are celebrating. ALL OPTIONS CAN BE EXPLORED WHEN QUEST OR EVENT IS REPEATED.

WARLORD NAMES: YOU (DE) CAN CHOOSE THIS

WARLORD ABILITIES: One can harness raw cosmic energy. Another can control all natural elements (fire, earth, wind, water, and green nature). The last can stop you from using all your abilities and can slow you down or make you more vunerable and can split itself into 4 fake + 1 real version

NEW WARFRAME NAME: YOU (DE) CHOOSE NAME

NEW WARFRAME ABILITIES: THE TENNO CAN CHOOSE ONE OF THE WARLORDS, POWERS.

FINAL REWARD: NEW WARFRAME + IF YOU WIN WAR THEN YOU GET ACCES TO NEW AREAS IN PLAINS OF EIDOLON. MABEY YOUR TENNO CAN DISCOVER A SECRET UNDERGROUND CITY LIKE CETUS.

PLEASE DE DON'T ADD ANY NEW RESOURCES INTO THE GAME FOR THIS QUEST/EVENT.

MISSIONS FOR RECLAIMING AND DEFENDING CETUS: Your TENNO must recapture Cetus' as first mission the talk to Konzu and Onkko about how to fix the shield. This will lead you to the next few missions where you have to look for parts to fix the Shield which are scattered across the Plains of EIDOLON. For some parts you will have to infiltrate with the new enemies bases outside the Shield to get them. Last mission is to destroy the super weapon which will be manned by someone so you must dodge it's killing shots. Cutscene can show superweapon getting blown up.

SHIELD PARTS: THE ARK REACTOR, ENERGY FIELDROME SAMPLE, 3 PULSE EMMITERS THAT CAN BE AQUIRED FROM A SPY MISSION.

WAR MISSIONS: again recapture Cetus for first mission then another mission where you recruit an army. Finally fight 3 major battles in which you destroy key targets. Then 3 final missions which kill 3 Warlords.

KEY TARGETS: THE SUPER WEAPON. THE CULLER (A BOSS FIGHT). THE SANCTUARY. (A LOCATION).

THE CULLER'S ABILITIES: The ability to turn your own friends against you and to call his army to protect and enhance his armies crit chance + health Plus to make himself invincible for 30 seconds.

HEALTH OF BOSSES AND ENEMIES: YOU (DE) CAN DECIDE.

Warlords like warframe warlords?....why do they have powers like that? (The last one is actually in line with the games bad guy theme though)...also, if this is being spammed all over the forums, kind of lame....

This new specie would just pop out of nowhere with hate for Cetus?

And why destroy Cetus? The place was recently added and you already want to get rid of it?

The Gate and Shields around the Plains isnt whats protecting Cetus, its the Unum, that huge Orokin tower in the Sea that took down Sentients and keeps Grineer at bay, how`s this new specie going to overcome it?

I can hear the Lore screaming all the way to the Tau System.

Who are these warlords? Where do they come from? Where do they get their powers? You've described Tenno-like abilities – are they connected to the Void? Are they rogue Tenno? You can't just toss random people with powerful abilities into this universe when the lore is clear that Void powers are mostly restricted to the Tenno (a highly insular group).

Why do they want to destroy Cetus? How do they take down the shield, a feat that the Grineer have not been able to do? Why does Konzu know where to find parts to repair the shield? The Ostrons don't make the shield, the Unum does.

This whole event sounds like it was ripped from a completely different game. It doesn't belong in Warframe.

I kind of didn't really read anything other than the title.

Definitely support that whole FALL of Cetus idea though! I'll stand there, gleefully watching Konzu get brutally murdered and remember all the bounties where I got freaking Endo instead of a damn Zenurik lens.

Totally going to yell "Early lunch for Tenno!" as I do that too.

Q: New species? All enemies that currently exist are human(grineer, corpus), Technocyte(infested) or Sentient.  The latter two of which are Orokin(human) inventions.

Q: Are you saying this theoretical frame is intended to have three totally different themed kits?

Eh, it's nice to imagine events but realistically the next one will relate to Venus in some way.  Maybe they'll rework The Sargeant into more of a character during it.
