chofranc Posted July 15, 2018 Share Posted July 15, 2018 (edited) He is good, you need to mod it right. He can do it very well in most sortie missions and in kuva flood. To get the most of him, use high range + corroding barrage(if there are armored enemies) and an AoE weapon. His fashionframe is great. His pilfering swarm Mod has a use in farming. Corroding Barrage melts Armor. His “Puddle Pirate” Power is one of the most visually underwhelming in the game but it swallows enemies for long periods of time and then acts like an enemy puke giezer. Id say the biggest issue is that he has poor CC, AoE, and mobility now that the game’s movement system has evolved. Ask Hydroid mains...there aren’t many. If yes, then build him and keep him. If not, then build it later, before he gets vaulted, keep him for his looks, and sell any additional sets you may end up getting. Well, I survived well over an hour on MOT once with just Corrosive Barrage and Tentacle Swarm alone. My teammates where kinda hiding behind me the whole time so yeah, he’s good.
