Here's my possibly unpopular opinion. Everyone saying Roar is a good subsume ability are lower rank or unexperienced players doing mid level content. You'd never see Roar on any end game build. If you want an extra damage buff ability, the go to is Xata Whisper.

Why would they change this? You know how many people complain about Limbo for this same exact reason and nothing has been done. I believe Limbo is a bigger problem than Frost. Because not only can you not shoot enemies on a defend target if a limbo puts up a rift bubble on it. But a limbo can also cause you to not be able to damage any enemies if you get put in to the rift.

Until everyone, and I mean every account is a cross-save account there will always be cross-trade segregation. Granted there is still the problem plaguing Nintendo(I'm not a Switch player but can understand the frustration) with trading due to plat restrictions. Not sure how to even handle that as I don't know the behind the scenes legal problems associated with that. I'd guess as long as Nintendo players could have an option to only show Switch players in trade chat after everyone is cross-save, then it would be just like it was for them initially before cross-save was ever a thing. But for everyone else there would be no more running into problems of cross-save mismatch when trying to trade or gift items. DE really should do a whole dev stream or at least a mini dev stream just on this issue and what they are doing to correct it moving forward.

I guess this can kinda count as an acknowledgement even tho it was only 5 seconds long and just confirmed what I've been saying all along... that there is nothing they can do to fix this problem. He ends by saying "realize that's not super ideal is it" But theres nothing they can do to fix this problem they created.

Still no acknowledgement from DE 2 months later tells me a few things... 1.) They have to know by now the amount of people this screwed and having absolutely no way to fix it, they are going to just ignore us. And in the off chance that they do acknowledge us, their response is going to be that everything is working like they said it would. 2.) They have zero cares in the world about the issue this caused so many people to even acknowledge it with something like "oops, we messed up bad" Even if there is no way to correct the problem. 3.) They are embarrassed by this fake "cross-save" and are going to just continue going about business like everything is fine. Cross-save uses a centralized account that is not specific to any particular platform. DE's cross-save forced everyone to convert to PC accounts. Even in a cross-save system, PC accounts would have to enable cross-save also to access a centralized real cross-save system. The only solution or fix out of this would have been the following... This should have been an automated system to auto-convert every Warframe account to a centralized system thus creating more unity across platforms instead of creating some unity across platforms but in turn creating segregation amongst your own platform. Until they do a mass auto-convert of every account without players needing to do it manually cross-save will continue to divide instead of unify.

This is going to be a persistent issue for switch as even if they enable Cross save, while paying on switch, the majority of people in trade chat won't be able to buy or sell things with plat unless they also have a Nintendo icon next to their name and that's going to be a nightmare to sort through when trying to buy or sell with plat. As far as the problems with the PlayStation and Xbox the only solution I can think of is eventually doing some sort of hard force push that will auto convert the remaining accounts to cross-save aka PC accounts. Or unfortunately putting in a check/wall at the splash screen of the game that prevents logins unless a cross-save account is used. Something needs to happen to unify the community again. There is too much new segregation now whether it's intentional or self-causing by intentionally not signing up for cross-save.

This is exactly why I think that everyone basically tells us to shut up, it's working like they described, and DE explained it, are all in PC. As the PC users didn't get affected at all. Cross-save didn't cause them to lose the ability to trade with their friends on PC they've been playing with forever like it did with console. The only thing that happened with PC players is they gained even more people to trade with from console users switch to cross-save aka PC accounts. So of course PC users are going to champion this change and tell all the console users they're wrong in complaining. They can't put themselves in our shoes.

They are really going to say it's working as intended with all these people complaining about this problem. It might be working as intended but it was worded strange. Yes you need cross-save to trade with cross-save people but who would have thought that it would disable the ability to trade with your own platform and friends. That is what should have been in the description. A warning! ⚠️

The problem is that 2 players that have been playing together for years both on the same console can no longer trade if one of them turns on cross-save. Some people don't want to convert their accounts to PC accounts so they are now stuck not being able to trade with their friends on their own platform that they've been trading with for years. What is your smarty solution for the people that don't want to buy in to the fake "cross-save" and want to leave their account is as native PlayStation or Xbox accounts. How are they suppose to trade with the same platform people they've been trading with for the past 10 years?
