  1. This is the one main reason why I don't play Sevagoth. Every other frame I can just put a reactor in, make a budget build and be done with it til the prime comes out. Sevagoth simply doesn't work properly without a ton of forma. I don't like wasting forma on non-primes unless I really love the frame (I did it for voruna) and I also hate the grindy process of forma'ing warframes multiple times. So I'll wait for the prime and just enjoy gloom on other frames.
  2. The more I play with the new incarnon weapons, the more I love them. I have to say though, I'll have a REAL hard time making my picks on week 4. I own and really enjoy all of those 5 weapons.
  3. Amazing, thanks!! Can't wait to test these changes later this week.
  4. So far I only got lato and strun, and I did notice a huge crafting difference between the two. The lato requires 250 rare mats only found in a very specific area of the map plus a bunch of maw fishing, whereas the strun it was stuff I already had stockpiled just from playing the game normally and didn't even need to farm.
  5. I think it's pretty good, it's a good system overall. But I'm not on pokemon collector mode either. I'm just picking the ones I already have built (and preferably forma'ed) in my arsenal. But if the crafting requirements are too high (like the lato last week, I didn't have the materials), I'm not even bothering. Just saving the adapters for now. I kinda regret not getting the paris last week, since I love the nataruk, but whatever. It'll come back. The strun has been insanely fun with my riven though.
  6. yea, while these new incarnon weapons have been very powerful thus far, it does seem like DE reigned in the range on them significantly. I've seen something around 3 to 4m thus far on braton, latron, etc. But I haven't tested them out myself yet, just watching YT videos for now.
  7. No, it's you who need to learn that "objective" doesn't mean what you personally enjoy or don't enjoy. Most things in your list aren't objective at all. It wasn't badly written, some people loved the writing, Fortuna wasn't tedious at all for me, and people getting stuck maybe need to realize there's more buttons in their keyboard. The Drifter's origin has been thoroughly explained in the Duviri Paradox now, including all the ways he fit in with the TNW (as a live service game, a single quest is NEVER going to answer all Qs, it needs to keep going). While Erra's arc is also explained, that's one part I do think DE could have spent a little more screen time on to show it with more nuance, it felt kinda rushed at the end, as I said I don't think it's perfect either. Most things people call plotholes in these forums are things that are answered and explained already if they bother to do some research or piece things together.
  8. Have you been collecting the lore fragments? I dont want to spoil too much, but I've been spending most of my time this weekend collecting the fragments and reading up on the lore and there's definitely a lot more to it than what just the quest shows. By the way I just found that house from the OP's screenshot, really cool dialogue there 😄
  9. He came from outside. It's heavily implied in the quest and confirmed in the fragments of the Scholar islands.
  10. That's not objective, but an opinion. For me New War is the absolute best quest in all of Warframe, only Second Dream comes close, and maaaybe The Sacrifice and Chains of Harrow. I love the story in TNW, it's not badly written at all, even if it's not perfect. As for the worst I honestly don't know. WF has a bunch of meh quests, specially the older ones. Duviri Paradox was great though, an A.
  11. I think this is extremely true and important. I've played MMOs for decades, I know what burn out feels like, and how our anger and frustration gets directed towards the game/devs, etc. The VAST majority of players will burn out after playing the same game for thousands (or even hundreds) of hours. I feel like the "voice" in these forums is completly skewed by burnt out veterans hating on every single thing, tons of negativity and toxicity, unrealistic expectations that WF can be the "forever" main hobby and entertainment in their entire lives for over a decade, and very little actual constructive criticism. I think at the end of the day, if you're spending more time feeling frustrated and upset at a game, than actually having fun and enjoying it, maybe it's time to think if it really makes sense to keep that game in your life. The "angry gamer" culture that was sold to us by youtubers and streamers getting rich on outrageous caricature personalities really isn't helping anyone in the long run.
  12. The last 2 updates were 100% WF, lua's prey and mirror defense. The one before that was 50% WF, archon hunts vs kahl. And before that, Zariman was 100% WF. I mean, c'mon. Let's not exaggerate with "years waiting".
  13. I was already expecting this update would get a lot of hate because it's a mix of Drifter gameplay and arsenal restrictions. I didn't play long enough to form my opinion on it yet, but it seems very fun so far. Plus the last two updates were exclusively Star Chart hardcore warframe gameplay updating survival and defense respectively, along with pity system reward shops. I think players could really cut DE some slack even if they hate drifter gameplay. It's not like they are completely neglecting the core gameplay.
  14. LOL, this was golden! I haven't had much time off work to play yet, I'm still halfway through the quest, but I like it quite a bit so far. Drifter combat is cool, the world is gorgeous, circuit is fine, everything is fun so far. I've heard complaints about the story, but I'm avoiding spoilers and as usual I think people are neglecting the extra lore that DE said will be scattered in codex fragments. I enjoy the _concept_ of the random loadouts, but I'm a bit concerned how this will play out in Steel Path since I'm not a collector and I'm missing tons of weapons (I do have every frame though). This weekend I'll play more and see for myself.
