  1. @[DE]Megan Could we get an update please? Its been more than a month now, and 6 months since the issue started.
  2. We are nearing a month since we last heard anything from DE now. Can we get an update/eta please? I understand this can take a bit of time, especially if the initial merge was kludgey but a "we haven't forgotten you/we're working on it still" post would certainly be appreciated.
  3. Also something for the time played and platinum invested as well. Just giving support the ability to mark an account merge eligible would be best. Require the duplicate account to be deleted first, but that's manageable by support. Other solutions would be acceptable as well.

  5. It's beyond scummy, and they've been pushing this garbage for months now. I'm in the same boat, and unwilling to have half my stuff deleted because of DEs mistakes and poor planning.
  6. Why do you think that arbitrarily deleting half my stuff for literally no reason is somehow acceptable? This is the big question you need to answer for the folks you're screwing with the account merge lies. Not randomly losing half my stuff is a bare minimum expectation for a live game like this. This needs to be answered before we can take any other response to the situation seriously.
  7. @[DE]Megan It's been more than a week. You said you were going to clarify why we couldn't merge, but then ignored our scenario entirely in your explanation, despite the specifics having been made abundantly clear throughout the various threads, and in our direct responses. When can we expect a real answer? Both the claim that you were going to clarify and the claim the explanation applies to us are outright lies. This behavior by DE is still abusive and unacceptable, and still needs to be corrected.
  8. No lawyer in the US at least. There are parts of Europe with significantly stronger consumer protection laws however, so if you're in the EU this might be a good time to ask a lawyer, especially if you have a significant amount of money invested. I would also put in a BBB(and/or the canadian equivalent) complaint.
  9. This is infuriating. I still don't understand why it's been so GD hard for DE to show us the respect we've earned through the time and money invested in this game, respect that DE frankly OWES us, and refuses to show. Making me choose between loosing a ton of content that i PAID for, or having trade with my family stifled because their merges worked, isn't an acceptable situation, not after years of hoping for an eventual merge. Being able to keep playing without DE up and deleting a bunch of my stuff over thier own mistakes shouldn't be a big ask. While i understand there are difficulties, thats no excuse for the complete lack of effort or empathy. The responses we've received have ranged from ghoulish to outright harassment. We deserve better, and I personally refuse to let up until you do better.
  10. While I appreciate the response, it still only addresses why we can't merge an account and it's duplicate. It hasn't yet addressed why we're unable to merge the original account with a non-duplicated one, given that it would have zero impact on the existence of duplicates, or why we can't delete untouched accounts to clear the way for a merge, especially given the amount of money involved in some of these.
  11. Just a mod on a mastrubatory power trip as far as i can tell. They deleted all dissent, without a word.
  12. As plenty of folks know, DE has implemented a $&*^ish policy of denying people an account merge over the creation of unrelated accounts, and not given any way to address the problem. The official response thus far has been "we hear you, we know we're screwing you over, and we don't give a ****" While restrictions are understandable, using something arbitrary from 5+ years ago, without any warning that it would cause issues, as an excuse to deny folks is untenable and unethical. There are specific laws blocking this from happening in legal situations, because it is so flagrantly unethical. 'ex post facto' is what it is called, for those that want to look up more. And yet despite this obvious and undeniable ethics breach, we've gotten no response, nothing to adress the problem, and nothing dismissal and abuse from DE staff. Not only that, but the forum moderators are now actively trying to stamp out dissent on the matter, to sweep their abusive behavior under the rug. This is unacceptable at every level, and needs to be addressed immediately. Someone needs to grow the stones to get on the forums and tell us to our faces that they dgaf about us, or it needs to be fixed.

  14. When is the issue of people with unused switch accounts being unable account merge going to be addressed? Also, so I'm not entirely off topic, either a hold toggle, or a timed rotation between them every x seconds. Maybe a steady shift from dark>light>dark over the duration, to emulate a day night cycle.

Still a bug, still needs fixed When they step up and state that their intent is to drive away long-standing players by screwing them over, we can shift the label away from bug. Untill then, it is /not/ working as intended, the bug needs fixed, and they need to hoppity skip to it. And I have given pages of details, easily accessible to any DE folks. They can check the support ticket i have in, or the myriad of posts about the issue that they've been ignoring.
  17. I'm in the same boat here. I don't want duplicates, I want the /already created/ duplicates deleted so I can merge real accounts. Currently anyone capable of addressing the situation is ignoring it entirely. It's infuriating, and nothing short of ridiculous. It's been going on since merging started, with no real response, no statement, not even an acknowledgement of the issue.
  18. Would be true if there was a legitimate reason to deny eligibility. Maybe if there had been a notice when switch accounts were split off. As it stands, they need to fix eligibility bugs. "It's not a bug it's a feature" is the biggest load of BS I've seen on this.
  19. Still only lets me link, not merge. Any word on when that bug will be fixed?
  20. I started on ps4 a decade ago, and eventually switched to pc, as it's my primary system. I was only on ps4 to play with friends. Have been hoping for a merge since i switched. Instead, im just getting screwed, while they use a lie about duplicates to excuse it.
  21. My suggestion is to leave a bad review on steam and resubmt the ticket. I won't be playing until it is fixed, so will be resubmitting the ticket each time it's improperly closed.
  22. There are a ton of ways they could handle this that would be appropriate, including just telling us that unique situations would be addressed after the phased mess is done. Instead, we get silence, lies, and excuses.
  23. I am stuck, unable to merge my two main accounts because of an untouched switch account i made purely to support your rollout. When can we expect a response to this issue that /isn't/ just lies and excuses?
