There is something that we don't know. Maybe they just thinking that Tenno should be on their side as Orokin legacy.

Or... or... the corpus are the current age Orokin that made a deal with the "old enemy", but hold the Tenno responsible for not having gone along with them?

lotus@spacetwitter: Vor! you should see what Alad V just posted. such a moron. "she is not currently aware of this". so much for the corpus being intelligent.

Vor@myprizetwitter: lmao.... truce?

@Alad.... you may think you have won. you may think you have gained power beyond your dreams but... just when you think you will have won.... just when you are at the edge of victory. you will find my volt.... waiting.... ready... and your blood will be the first for my dakra prime to taste.

Wait. So we are actually Corpus? Or actually, the Corpus are actually Orokin?

Tenno were never Orokin. It's only stated (on this website under the Tenno lore section) that the Tenno originate from the Orokin Era of Earth, but not that they were part or from the Orokin Empire. The wording seems to indicate more towards both being seperated groups. Also during the previous concept art livestream the artist said Tenno are using Orokin INSPIRED aesthetic. Not that their aesthetic is Orokin. The only comfirmed connection to the Orokin is that the Warframes exo-armors were created by them.

As such it's more likely the Tenno merely existed alongside the Orokin Empire. Come to think of it. It might aswell be that the Tenno stole the Warframe technology from the Orokin to level the playing field.

However this in turn might bring us to the Corpus and how they call the Tenno and Lotus the betrayers.

Considering that they try to copy Orokin technology, which they treat almost like religios objects, it's possible that the Corpus either see themself as the successor of the Orokin or are actualy one of the last remnants of their civilization. So perhaps the Corpus see a betrayl the Tenno did to the Orokin as a betrayl to themself too.

The easier alternative could be that the Lotus worked together with the Corpus to recover the Tenno, but after doing so instead of handing them over, woke them up and used them against the Corpus.

Hmm, i'm pretty sure that Tenno were part of the Orokin Empire (like the knights were part of the modern age empires), which is to say that they were all human but that the Tenno operated under Orokin government as the "army" or even "elite army" per se.

As for the non-prime Warframes, last time i read they weren't inspired by, but rather created with salvaged components by the old Grandmasters who knew by memory alone after being unfrozen how to build them. Which is why we have prime frames, that are exactly like the original ones that were only made possible by collecting original Orokin material on the Void.

But yeah, our lines of thought are similar :)

@Stefe

I think the Corpus call the Tenno the Betrayers because it's implied that they betrayed the Orokin, long ago.

And the Corpus apparently worship the ancient Orokin, so...

Betrayers.

HRGFLRGJHJRG   THAT REALLY SOUNDS CONVINCING BUT....... :v Still can't be sure till they put more lore.
