Dexterity arcane 🗡️

I think Dexterity arcane should be on a melee and exalted weapon not on a primary or secondary, it's time for DE to add a melee focus arcanes 🙏

I agree with the second half of this post, dexterity arcanes are a damn good way of synergizing your melee's and guns regardless of what frame you are using, makes using Kuva Zarr worth it. Just slicing and dicing and then whip out zarr for a couple of shots with it's damage stacked up. Real nice.

Melee's are strong but I personally would like them to at least approach the level of incarnon guns, so melee arcanes is a want from me. Even if they don't increase damage and all that, they could do some funky, gimicky stuff which would also be great.

ya, melee weapons deserve arcanes too imo (not just warframe arcanes, but weapon arcanes too you insert into your melee weapon)

I don't feel melee arcanes are strictly needed, some were introduced with zaws for niche use cases.

Stances already provide variety of movesets and a standard damage boost while increasing the mod capacity of the weapon.

If only we already had some kind of weapon variant that was neglected during Melee 2.0 boosts that heavily relies on the dedicated arcanes. :cough: zaws :cough:

not sure DE would go for melee arcanes, since Melee is in a good place, and Zaws exist. IMO it would be better to just buff the Dexterity Arcanes.

You guys are aware of the reason why Primary/Secondary Arcanes were added in the first place, right?

For a while, guns simply could not compete against melee in terms of raw damage. So DE added the arcanes and Galvanized mods to bring them more in line. Some melee mods were nerfed too. Now the game is no longer spam melee button to win.

You know that Arcanes were only added Guns to give them the equivalent of Stances, right?

Melee doesn't need the help. It was already so powerful that Arcanes and Galvanised mods were added to Guns to bring those up to the same level as Melee.

I strongly disagree. Melee was the only good option for years and years but now we have variety. This would be a huge step backwards if these arcanes were added. Melee is in a great spot but it's now not the only valid option.

I would only be fine with it if it was only for utility like increased combo duration. No direct damage increases like the guns have. It would be more like an exilus slot for arcanes.
