Slightly tangential, but could we also get the background music from Hek's recent video?

I interpreted it as actual in-game Grineer martial music.  They have no time for those effete old-Earth musical instruments, so weak they need someone to play them!

Can we hope for some chorals for more epicness? Really, chorals make everything better.

Symphonic metal:

Even dubstep:

P.S. Posted links, so people won't end up with nothing. As far as i know, there's still a lot of users who can't see videos.

The obvious problem that could occur here is that people could end up disliking one factions music and it would just be more reason to play against fewer factions. The infestation ruination made me never play infested anymore since I don't bother with ops anymore because I have everything I want from them. Are you going to ruin another faction now by giving it music I can't stand? Obviously I could just continue playing Pandora since there's no real music to speak of right now but I'd be much happier if you developed a system like Starbound's dynamic music system. I am not giving up on believing in you guys but with the lack of open discussion until now, I can't help but feel like there was no real musician on the staff before so I'm questioning who will be making this music? Is it going to be pure user-generated? Can we get some ideas on the type of music you're looking for or do you have no plans thus far?

http://www.ninwiki.com/Quake_Soundtrack

"Quake is a video game by id Software released on June 22, 1996, which features music composed by Trent Reznor."

Did you ever pay attention to the rock and metal that played in Quake 2 and Arena? :|-

EDIT: oh, Sonic Mayhem also did some sick industrial metal too. here's some proof. ->

Also, i'm going to stop arguing about this. this is NOT the place to talk about non-warframe stuff.

There's no arguing here, just a failure of communication. Psyanide mentioned Quake and NIN, and you 'corrected' that in reference to Quake 2 / 3, while still talking about the original, "old school" Quake.

It's a tangent, but related to sounds we'd like to hear.

I haven't kept up with Trent's recent work, but I would prefer something that lacks worded content as opposed to the link you've provided. Q1 has some screaming, but by memory there's no words per se, and there is a greater variation between active and ambient music. (which you might expect between a soundtrack and one song, but still ...)

I'd also suggest offering to take things to pm, rather than trying to shut down the conversation. If you feel like talking on this further, you're welcome to do so - but please avoid starting off with questions like, "Did you even ... ?"
