Yo, Like Don't Do Excalibur Prime, Do Dragon Excalibur

So, people keep complaining about Excal p being founder exclusive, and I thought, excalibur is the original Warframe, why not make him special.  Just like how the nikana is symbolic of the whole ninja-esque theme, Excal is THE warframe, and he deserves to be built upon by everyone, and not just those who were here first.  

 

He could have the same stats as excal, or be slightly better, like excal prime.  The reason why is everyone tends to look down on excalibur players, since excal is the go to beginner frame, making people think that that player is inexperienced.  This would solve this problem without getting the founders' panties in a knot.

Its not like we paid our asses off in the early phase of this game and are one of the reasons you can enjoy it right now. Yes we got plat, yes we got prayms, was a nice investment for DE.

 

But please stop being butthurt if some exclusive stuff is better than what you have. I bet the community would burn in rage if excal prime had all stats by 20% increased. Just because of jealousy. Because thats humanity.

 

 

Now im sad.

Excal and Excal Prime have the exact same stats.  There is nothing better about him.  Devs said they will never bring Excal Prime back, but knowing how Warframe rolls, who knows what might get released down the line... if the problem is, you want your excal to look such a way that he is clearly not a noob, there are already options.  Immortal Skin drops from certain caches, alt helmets are available, and the exclusive Proto-Armor skin makes a pretty clear statement.

 

Future skins might even be rewarded based on late-game play... like... just a guess here...

 

Syndicates.

 

Considering the future possibilities of cosmetic changes, Excal Prime, or Dragoncalibur, would both be largely unnecessary.  Excal Prime ends up being just a pretty cosmetic with 6000 extra mastery exp.

Even that is already too much, saw at least 50 threads about making founder gear availible in my time here. I mean prime frames should be way better than the originals, theyre frickin orokin tech, which is supposed to be god-tier. The rest is just copies, look at the normal weapons vs prime weapons. But DE already only buffed NEW prime frames a bitty because community would get butthurt again.

I'd like an upgraded version of Excalibur, maybe many frames which are now weaker and need a boost. The founders can get something like an alternate skin or something to make it look like a Prime version. I honestly prefer the look of the Proto Excalibur skin way over the Prime version.

Excalibur Prime? You mean that one frame that has like, an extra polarity you have to forma out and gets a bit of energy for the team when he walks by a void box?

Super OP.

Doesn't even matter that he only has one ability that is worth using at high teir.

I'm pretty sure he didn't mean "dragon" as in an Excal that looks like a dragon.

 

More along the lines of a Dragon variant—like the Dragon Nikana, for example.

Thanks for clearing that up even though I never did see the difference between the 2 nikana

This wont solve any issues and will just create more.

The people who want excal prime wont be happy with this because they still wont have excal prime.

Meanwhile DE would have gone through a loophole and stands to lose a lot of trust from all players, founder and non founders alike.

It would be like them saying "You know that shiny misa prime that we said would only ever be in the prime access bundles?  Well we're realing the Dragon Misa Syandana.  Completely different, see?  Differnet colours and everything!"

DE shouldn't exploit a loophole because someone is entitled enough to think that they deserve a shot at everything when they haven't been here from the beginning.

You didnt do anything that saved the game

 

Youre not a hero and not entitled to anything except excali prime skana prime and lato prime

 

If you hadnt paid a dime the game would still be here

 

Youre not the only one who spent money on the game back then and not the only ones since

 

Get off that high horse

 

 

 

As for a new excali

 

Despite what people say it will get alot of the pressure off of this situation

 

When a new excali that isnt exclusive is released youll see players go from saying we should get a new excali to saying we have one now and telling others that thats what we got isntead

 

Its that easy to stop this all

Excal Prime doesn't have better stats, only a slightly faster shield recharge rate. Excal is still useful even on high end missions, especially now that he got a buff. Also if you look at an Excal in immortal skin/proto skin, carrying a Dragon Nikana and Soma, clearing out level 30+ Corrupted Heavy gunners with a hit of the 4th button, and you go on to say he/she 's inexperienced, then you sir have a problem

Skana prime better than normal, same for lato prime, I was referring to the whole founders set. They dont even have to be better, just exclusive. Excal prime could use some buffs if you ask me.

 

 

 But I mean look at brakk, can you imagine the S#&$STORM DE would have to live through if they would have left it gravidus-dilemma-only?

Even as a non founder i feel like excali prime needs a buff

 

Itll likely start  storm but its gotta happen
