xXxTheghostxXx
I was just wondering what is the best melee weapon for Oberon, either Orthos or Gram?

FelisImpurrator
My Oberon is a giant angry pineapple. Therefore, his best melee weapon is the Galatine, because it is his pineapple leaf of death.
RoboticApplesWithLasers
Oberon can contain his own HP without Lifestrike, i'd likely say to use something that can help mitigate damage. Try a whip or a heavy melee.
-Mr.Meeseeks-
There is no "best weapon" for any frame. One frame can use a weapon and be just as effective as another frame using that weapon. Edited May 26, 2015 by spidey2092
Huntchez
The Magistar of course. :D
(PSN)LIGHTNINGCOMBAT
There is no "best weapon" for any frame. One frame can use a weapon and be just as effective as another frame using that weapon. The Warframe Community's biggest fault is probably in this thread. "What is the best?" The answer is: Whatever you enjoy most.
_Fracture8
I like how the Kronen looks on his back. Aside from that the Magistar fits him "Lore wise"Anything else is fair game
Azur_Fenix
If only we had Magistar Prime
Noioiy
Hate, Kronen, Jet Kitty. Anything you like using really. There are no restrictions, nor penalties/advantages.
(XBOX)Skode
Hate, Kronen, Jet Kitty. Anything you like using really. There are no restrictions, nor penalties/advantages. Yeah weapons are all one size fits all, it just depends on what you have access to. These three examples are good starting points for high tier weapons but all three are hard to access as they are tough builds, rare drops or clan tech. If your a newer player who wants to pack a punch you could try the likes of the Scindo instead - easy enough build, its on the marketplace, only MR2 (you should be this high already if youve aquired Oberon) and its Slash damage based meaning your gonna be able to pack a punch against practically everything except for the armoured enemies like bombards or bosses... but you dont go charging in at them like a berserker anyway - you have guns to eat that armour up instead for you. (XBOX)Grihaly
Jat Kittag. Perfect for everything.
Mizar5129
Galatine, Magistar or Scindo. But that's only if you're going for the full paladin appearance, you can use any weapon you like.
TwevOWNED
Sword and Shield. You're the "Paladin" remember?
Tesseract7777
It's weak, but a Silva and Aegis would be really thematically cool on a Broberon.
Sixty5
Glaive Prime for AOE, range and mobility. His skillset means you don't need life strike, and don't give him much in the way of melee boosts. A Glaive Prime with the Power Throw build means you can move around quickly and blow up small groups of enemies that you don't want to use ult on
xXxTheghostxXx
Thanks alot guys i think the Galatine would do then,I was gonna get it at first anyway but i thought it only hits one target at a time then i read in the description it can hit up to five people. xXxTheghostxXx
And btw is it just me or when you first start hunting down oberon parts they are so hard to find but when you get them all they start dropping around like candy.
KingTaro
Doesn't matter which frame you have equipped, the best weapon is Orthos Prime. After Orthos Prime, you have some other good options. Kogake with Brutal Tide (against infested), Dragon Nikana (without a stance), Galatine with Tempo Royal, Tipedo / Bo Prime with Clashing Forest, Boltace / Kronen (highest slide attack, great for insta-kills), etc... Hotshot0507
Fro my experience the best meelee for oberon is the ceramic blade, you can copter at VERY high speeds and you can cast his ult in the air. With some practice this allows you to copter into an area, cast your ult in the air and move away from it. You can also use this ceramic blade to copter in the bubbles quickly. But that also takes practice to get it just right.... And if you really good at it, you can copter thru the bubble and kill the nullifier without stopping (with the right primary of course, like the strun wraith, this works great and feels cool)
