( though not for mastery 0-2 but they should be learning how Warframes work before attemping Archwing ). But if you refuse to participate in an Archwing mission on your own accord mind you, then it is no ones fault or it should not be held on DE because people refuse to play it. It's not uncommon in other games to just be too low level for special alerts/raids, this encourages progression. Archwing is a part of the game whether they like it or not and if they don't want to get theirs then they will eventually miss out on things. They don't have any right to *@##$ about it if they refuse to partake in an entire facet of the game. I do understand and agree with what the OP is saying, it has nothing to do with the choice if you ever play Archwing or not it's about practicality, everyone has a Warframe, that's a given, not everyone has a Archwing if by choice or not, so to attach an alert like this that requires a mode that not everyone plays is really not fair to those without an Archwing. Who says that the Gifts From The Lotus need to cover everyone? Nobody, that's who. If they want the Gift, they should get an Archwing. If they're a new player, they should get an Archwing for the next Gift that requires one. Missing one Gift of The Lotus isn't going to ruin the game for anyone. It's not really that different to missing an alert because you don't have the node unlocked, which happened to me when I started. Consider it a lesson learned. If you want access to all alerts and events you need a complete starchart and an archwing. Too many lazy tenno's not even boring to unlock nodes. They want someone else to do missions for them. DE should make it so, if you don't have node unlocked, they can't enter it even if they get a taxi. Just like how you can't do archwing mission without an archwing. This is kind of the reason I'm excited for the new star chart. For one, no one ever/ rarely plays the higher leveled planets(Phobos/ Sedna onwards, albeit the usual farming missions). It makes it harder to just jump into a random game and work your way up the star chart without a pre-established team. I completely agree with you about taxis to nodes that are locked, especially if they are on lower level planets. Personally, I believe you shouldn't be able to go to/ get a taxi to a planet you haven't unlocked yet, AND you have to unlock all the nodes on the planet (Not beat, unlock) to do the boss. They haven't even ironed out Archwing and now they are adding another gimmick. They need to stop adding things before at least attempting to polish up some of their more recent game modes. I know a lot of people who've been here for months but don't have an Archwing because they don't like the concept or execution of Archwing and don't want to play it. If they don't want to play Archwing then it's pretty hypocritical and nonsensical to play it for a reward. Archwing is a permanent feature of the game, they should expect rewards to be placed on Archwing missions. If they played for even a few months(hell even weeks), people have NO excuse. Correction of the first sentence: If they didn't GET archwing because they DON'T want to play archwing... is stupid honestly. Abenoki Posted May 31, 2015 Share Posted May 31, 2015 (edited) i have a full prime and plat account with MR 19 (im adult and i work for being able to enjoy this) recently i was "bored" with the situation of "levelling and warframe and political correctness in warframe (i am not politically correct and i will never be, om sweet om is not my business)" in general so i made a F2P account, i can understand everybody which has no archwing as a f2p-player because its not only hard to get warframe done and played for fun as a F2P player, its on some level insane hard to get your things done, you really have to love the lore of warframe or you run off i learned more then ever in warframe about "socialising and more" by using a f2p-account and im very glad i did it so, please, its not f2p-players business, its how warframe is ruled by the marketingpart of DE and if a f2p-player agrees with that ... Sorry i gotta completely disagree, my sister is a f2p player and has several Warframe, archwing, kubrow, etc. And did it with relative ease. It's not hard to do if you just play the game.
