Some Of The Best Single-Handed Swords

Since Excalibur gets some buff from single-handed swords I was wondering what some of the best ones to get were.

Dragon Nikana, Dakra prime, (prisma) Skana with augment, possibly mire with augment

Single handed swords include the dakra prime, skana and all of its variants, Ether, Jaw, Pangolin, Heat, Dark, Cronus and Mire.

 

But only the Dakra prime and Prisma Skana + crimson dervish are worth your time really.

Dakra Prime and Skana Prime are equally awesome, but Skana Prime (or Prisma...for obvious reasons) allow to use the Loka mod, which also buffs Exalted Blade.

BUT, as far as I know, excalibur gets a buff from nikanas as well (and even dual swords).

Excalibur gets a buff from One Handed Swords, Dual Swords, and Nikanas. Excalibur does not benefit from Machetes, Dagger(s), Sword and Shield, or Heavy Blades.

Yes that was the case before, but it seems since yesterdays patch the passive affects all weapons most likely a bug though.

Well if you only look at his ulti I'd say every weapon with a Syndicate mod now, I'd say Prisma/Prime Skana is the perfect choice as it's quite good even out of EB!

Nami solo is a machete though an in terms of just EB Jaw sword equals prisma skana, you also forgot the plasma sword (although it sucks due its 0.667 base attack speed.

The nami solo should be a sword not a machete but the plasma sword directly forgotten because low in every measure. Slow attack speed, low crit/status and low "only" electricity damage without dealing any other. At moment that sword is a mastery fodder instead of main favorite.
