Arcane_Intelligence
I´m not asking what was your very first anime, I´m asking what was your "first" anime that made you watch more. IF you actually watch any... Mine was, for some reason, Elfen Lied.
FLSH_BNG
I have to say that Elfen Lied was what got me into anime. That and Cowboy Bebop.
_Absolom_
I got into it with Naruto. Then soon Black Butler, Bleach, Tokyo Ghoul and Deadman Wonderland followed. I might need help.
VectorWolf
"Dash! Kappei". But I didn't knew then what an 'anime' is. I found out with one of my all time favorites, Slayers!
Rexlars
Naruto & Sailor Moon I believe. What's that anime with the guys who had different color armors with horns on them? There was a red one, blue, green, white, etc. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
MagPrime
I miss the good Saturday morning cartoon lineups. Escaflowne was what got me into anime.
(PSN)Zelrahen
Hate on me if you will, but.... Sailormoon & Bubblegum Crises Tokyo 2040. Dragonball shortly after, then the list grew.

OvAeons
elfen lied is just amazing. my first was dragon ball series, cause awesome, cause classic. either that or gundam other good series' are ergo proxy, yu yu hakusho, escaflone (minus the episode featuring the intensified luck soldiers) unless the anime is a stand alone that itself is a complete series, i generally stick to manga cause too many adaptations with HORRIBLE rushed endings. Grander.Alderman
Fullmetal Alchemist was the first one I watched that I actually thought was good, and Hellsing after that. I love those series, but unfortunately I find that about 90% of anime is complete S#&$ (I'll admit though that the remaining 10% can be absolutely amazing...). --Sokol
I´m not asking what was your very first anime, I´m asking what was your "first" anime that made you watch more. IF you actually watch any... Mine was, for some reason, Elfen Lied. Not counting DB/Z, Pokemon, Digimon etc. which aired on TV when I was a kid, Elfen Lied was indeed my first anime too. I remember it being so good I was left in awe for a week. After that first thing I did? Opened google and searched "anime like elfen lied". I knew I couldn't be the only one, but didn't think I'd find someone else whose 'first' anime was Elfen Lied especially here on WF forums. Arcane_Intelligence
only ecchi and harem for me TY (those are the funniest of them all) Funny fact: somehow accidentally I went to that direction after Elfen Lied... Shinmai Maou no Testament (The Testament of Sister New Devil), probably has more "plot" than High School DxD. Not sure what to think about it... Nebam
Shakugan no Shana way back when, I guess. Been a long fan of J.C Staff since, and it was better when they adapted Hayate no Gotoku, another favorite series. I guess I can't really include older anime I've seen like YYH, Sailor Moon, GTO, Inuyasha or such since I wasn't aware of what "anime" was at the time.
