(XBOX)xMonkeyDLuffyx9
With the new weather scenarios that have been implemented it is rather difficult to know when day or night is. At this moment when doing a Tera hunt you basically have to wait until the Quill tells you that sunrise nears to even know when the Teralyst retreats. This will also help players know when night and day are, as well as, help us to not have to remember the cycles, mainly due to the weather implementations. phoenix1992
Just now, Jem991 said: He xbox player :D I don't see the connection between the two things. Him being on Xbox does not mean that he can't read patch notes. But than again, OP has not read the "forum guidelines" either, so you may be on something (don't use megathread)

(XBOX)xMonkeyDLuffyx9
Really going to douches over a post? Thought mega tread was for all systems. So before you want to comment negatively let me remind you that warframe is a game where profanity and talking down to players is frowned upon. I had not seen the new time implementation. Xbox does not have this setting yet I am looking at Cetus right now and it says nothing about the time of day.

Bobtm
The recent patch on PC is the first step in the right direction towards something that should have been added in with the Plains of Eidolon launch. What we have now, with the tooltip on mouse over, gives one a rough idea of what time it is on the Plains. But why not a literal timer of X till Night/Day that counts down? Providing very clear cut information that has real meaning to a player in the UI should be baseline stuff. Imagine if alerts didn't list a timer at all and instead had things like; Nitain, ends soon. Void Traces, ends at some point. Orokin Reactor, ends in a while. There's zero reason at all to not have a minutes timer to show us true information. Regular day/night cycles were added to Earth years ago and we still have no in-game indication for them at all. The new time of day notation for Plains is the first step, but let's not sit on our haunches here when there's a much better goal just over yonder. Give us real valid information. So we don't have to rely on websites for what, by all rights, should be easily visible in-game. So we can stop directing new/lost players to google for what should be a simple question. 1 minute ago, GinKenshin said: just wait until it arrives on XBOX? since it's already on PC? What we have now still isn't a proper timer with real valid information. All it is is a rough estimation. It can be improved upon here on the PC side. So that when they do get the console updates going, those folks on Xbox and PS4 get a proper clock.
(XBOX)xMonkeyDLuffyx9
Thats all i can do atm but it is cool that they added that to Cetus really helps to know when night and day are.

Glad to know DE is taking the steps to get one implemented just sucks that its taken so long to finally get one in game. For consoles it will probably be another 4 months until we get the update. (XBOX)EzR3AdZzCUH
I second the need for a timer or way of knowing the time on The Plains. Or even rotate earth to the time.. while main earth is day, Cetus is night and vice-versa.. just an idea
captainHalide
Actually, having an Liset interior decoration that displays current earth time would be absolutely marvellous to have. It's amazing that, with all our space ninja future technology, that not one of us has figured out what a digital watch is.
Zilotz
"Time of day" is not a good clock. It's like on 8-th you ask someone which date is now and answer is "It's around start of month". Would be good to have clock on plains/Cetus and when aiming those locations on map. Day/night cycles are fast in plains so accurate clock would be good to plan well when to start which mission. (PSN)teacup775
i can see tenno gen watches are the future. sites like deathsnaks and others already use the game’s feeds. people check time after each cap.

This I'd be happy with a literal grandfather clock inside Cetus, pictures of Eidolons instead of Roman numerals, so long as it's a CLOCK and not some labels that don't tell me if "morning" means "you have less than thirty seconds before all the sharracs are gone for the next two hours"

Minutes matter (especially during the night cycle), so "Night" isn't really sufficient information.
