0 Xaero
Who knows. The bigger question is how Life Strike gonna work.
0 Nez-Kal
There is no answer yet. We have DE's "Here's an Idea we're Working on" posts, but we don't have full details or major specifics. Combo Counter itself is still high in the air for what it will be for sure, and what certain things will do, and what certain things won't do. Frankly, we don't know much of anything yet, sadly. 0 DrBorris
Well, we have no idea how the melee rework will end or even how far out it is. Furthermore, why would you change your build now for a system that does not exist yet? As it stands, Bloodrush is one of the best melee mods in the game, of course you should use it (for now at least).

My guess is that charged attacks will take over Life Strike. That's what I would do, but who knows?
0 Synpai
With the information that we know right now; it's inconclusive. They're supposedly increasing the base damage for every melee weapon, so I can't imagine it will be the same; time will tell.
0 (PSN)AbBaNdOn_IGN
Basically alot of the melee mods will be changed and adapted for the new mechanics. Crit Bonus per hit count, combo duration, channeling. Im sure the instead of crit bonus per hit count some mods will make it easier to build up your hit count(so you can unleash strong attacks more often). Strong attack damage will probably have damage buffs to it but maybe also range extensions (you hit a strong attack and you kill everything in a big aoe? Otherwise they are worthless). Maybe some of them cause CC effects when your hit count reaches certain levels. Maybe some mods keep your strong attacks from depleting your hit count so you can spam them. (whatever happens I am pessimistic about the outcome. Crit combo was awesome cuz you built it up and only lost if through inaction. Channeling could have been turned into something alternative to crit combo like status combo or energy BUILDING(not depleting).
0 (XBOX)Architect Prime
We won't know enough to speculate until we see a more complete image of what the rework looks like. Right it's all subject to change.
0 Canach
It's the risk you take playing a game still in Beta... 😜
