  1. Note - I linked Switch back to PC, hoping that "deleting" the one-time-migrated account might clear the flag. It does not. I still cannot merge from Xbox. Their logic is correct for platforms that have been migrated to - if I migrated to Switch, I shouldn't be able to merge back. However, that logic should be platform-specific, not global to all platforms - that's simply a bug.
  2. Adding info - even after linking the one-time-migrated Switch account back to PC (effectively destroying the copy), I still cannot merge There was an all-platform flag set for the migration, when it should have been platform-specific. The merge logic needs to allow merges from platforms that were not migrated to. Ex: Xbox account was started from scratch, with lots of purchases - it should be able to merge into my PC account, regardless of a one-time migration to Switch. However, I should not be able to merge my Switch back into PC (that'd basically dupe everything). The latter logic is correct; the former logic is a bug today. There is no technical or business reason for it; they just haven't discriminated their logic between platforms. That's a bug, regardless of whether it's in the FAQ.
  3. For what it's worth, as someone who can merge, they've left it "broken" for many of us. If you did the one-time migration to Switch, your PC account cannot be merged into. So, my Xbox account - which has lots of currency, but not as much progress as PC - cannot be merged into my PC account. There is no technical or business reason for this. They should be blocking us from migrating Switch back into PC - that'd be a free duplication, basically. However, there's no reason to block a merge from Xbox back into PC, just because that was one-time migrated to Switch. They just haven't thought through the scenarios - they're treating the one-time Switch migration as if it was "all consoles", which it was not.
  4. This is simply a bug. They should be preventing merges back from *the platform that you migrated to* (here, the Switch). However, there's no technical or business reason to block merges from other platforms, like Xbox, back into an account just because it was one-time migrated to Switch. This is a legitimate bug report, and they need to fix it ASAP.
  5. No, they just haven't thought this through. They need to fix it. They should *not* allow merge from Switch back to PC, if you did the one-time migration to Switch. That makes total sense - it'd be a free duplication. They should *not* block merges from Xbox back to PC, just because that account was one-time migrated to Switch. They lose nothing by that; they're just frustrating many of their most loyal players. They just haven't implemented the logic correctly. Hopefully they will fix this soon.
  6. I'm in the same situation. I have tons of currency on both PC and Xbox - more progress on PC, which would be my primary. I one-time copied to Switch without concern at the time, and it's ridiculous that this means that I can't merge Xbox in. I've barely played Switch since. I wouldn't mind if I was unable to merge the *Switch* account back in - that would make sense. Blocking Xbox merging in makes no sense at all; they just haven't thought through these scenarios closely. They need to fix this, immediately.
  7. I'm in this exact situation. I can't merge my Xbox into my PC, because I copied to Switch long ago. I have almost as much progress on Xbox as PC, and tons of currency I've paid for. This is ridiculous. I'd be happy to delete my Switch account (copy).
