  1. For a few bounties it could theoretically slow the mission down, to not have everyone search for cache or whatever. Realistically though it doesn't make enough of a difference to care about. Then it also opens the door to getting hemorrhoids over other, similar, pity stuff such as spy missions, sorties and so on. I refuse to play steel path with low MR players!!!!1 One day you going to find yourself being negative the entire time, constantly watching the other players and getting ever increasingly petty, it's just not worh it. I am not doing more than 1 spy vault!!!11 Then rage quit as host to punish them for their insolence! How dare they!!!!!1111 Unhealthy.
  2. I don't have a main warframe but this one jumped into my mind in 3 seconds:
  3. Well, considering the amount of ass kissing it takes to get moderator, we got a few apologists in here working years now no luck, you can rule out any objective or professional behavior... lol. I mean don't get me wrong, warframe can ban anyone they want for damaging the narrative of their brand and costing them money. It just makes me laugh when some uncle tom moderator is trying to sound all formal and corporate when they don't even have a job, you can't have it both ways.
  4. You also have the option of using Titania's 1, Spellbind, to gain status immunity, through helminth. I am not sure if other similar abilities also block stagger and knockdown, such as Nezha's Fire Walker. And also Wyrm's Negate might also work for status immunity.
  5. It's the money that matters. You can read off google Tecent has a "market cap of $403.93 billion, making them the world's 20th most valuable company. It's hard to imagine Tencent is not going to let it go no matter what, at least a while into mobile for the chinese market. But who knows, their sales could be doing great. I personally seen neckbeards admitting to spending $1000 a month on a single video game, so as crazy as it seems it's really about how many whales you have in your game.
  6. I still haven't gotten to use the super soaker "rifle" skin on any of my rifles yet. Ever since that skin from that event that year, I have this thing about warframe skins need to list the exact weapons they work on - based on the premise it's only going to be a few. Like the last round of nightwave with all the pistol skins right off the bat didn't work on any dual pistols in the game because of course not lol. Of course being able to apply a skin to an actual item isn't important, right!!!? .. which then opens the door to the classic debate of "subtracted" syandanas, that look nothing like their picture and realistically should be reverted or made manual, or both, such as Plox and Sari. How many people got suckered by the Plox's fake appearance this year, yes we are still talking about that. Naturally once you started complaining, it doesn't end there because now you also remember how most skins and textures don't belong to the same color palette. Even between something as simple as a waframe and its helmets, there is just no way you can color match it even if you bought every palette in the whole game.
  7. Well I hate to say it but that just makes warframe look bad. Because I've been to that camp, several times, even gave khal the ugliest outfit in pink I could find. Even been inside the ship actively wondering why the teleport and weird setup with the ramp and why they suddenly force me to spawn there, and, why they hid the menu to leave so well. And I have never notice the ship hanging up above you lol. And the ship in the lake looks more like the loading screen ship than the wiki ship on top. Which I guess is ironic considering my point; they certainly seem willing to allow you to have amenities unlocked when they wish it but not for the railjack mode.
  8. You can read about gameplay that does not exist... in the codex as well? Ok great. I mean it's more like we are roleplaying the "orbiter" exists, because some line of text says so. It's not support by any gameplay or has a model.
  9. Here is the debate so far, from my perspective. We were debating railjack and why it had failed twice. I had then posted the list of problems I remember, one of which were the missing "amenities", foundry, modding and what not. Which is what "orbiter as railjack", "railjack as home", "getting yet another ship with no point to it" means. Anything beyond that, entertaining as it may be, is completely besides the point. Railjack is worthless or worth less, seeing as it does not have the gameplay options, it obviously also does not have the same incentive to get attached to. But don't think I don't appreciate all the off topic word splitting, especially the one about if an orbiter blows up in a forest but no one sees it, is the cat in the box dead or alive ?!?!?!111 Since people were already attached to 'the ship', the skins, air supply, decorations and so on, it was absolutely meaningless to add a new, giant empty ship that deleted everything and blocked your gameplay.
  10. No? If you invite someone to group they show up in a similar ship outside your window. You can then visit them or invite them to your ship. The larger ship we see on the wiki, is not shown outside your window in-game; it does not exist. Walking around the entire 'space' of the ship I was just shown visually out my own window, I did not think to myself: "oh this has to be attached to something way larger, that's probably void cloaked and its only proof of existence, is a screenshot on the wiki". lol. And adding "orbiter" to menu, also doesn't seem right, since you can't see it or interact with a screenshot from the wiki. You see the problem, right? You have to reference a source outside the game to convince me something is a part of the game? You guys keep saying it has no place in combat, but it very clearly flies into combat on every loading screen for every player.
  11. My reply was based on the deletion of items and progress 2-3 years down the road, to reset the grind, as was done with AoE, kuva/tenet weapons to incarnon. Which is of course the opposite of respect.
  12. Heheh, yeah. There is a bunch of suit upgrades they haven't installed yet. But screw attack obviously extremely cool.
  13. That is kind of my point though. You want to debate the name, I am debating the point. If you called it scooby-doo or shaggy-doo or whatever, so? I installed the game in 2018 and I never heard of or saw "the real orbiter"... lol. Granted I am about gameplay not lore so I don't keep up. But for all of us that do not read the wiki? Never had anyone correct me or comment, when I typed orbiter, heard any mention of a larger ship, saw any indication of it in-game or experience any gameplay that had any connection to it on any level. Which is to say, it has no meaning, it doesn't exist. You show me a screenshot, I can show you one from the wiki marked "orbiter interior" which shows the interior of the "landing crafting" but it is marked "orbiter". So what, does it matter for the gameplay? Because the gameplay points remain the same though, right? And even further enforce why you should fly the ship formerly known as orbiter into combat - if it has both "void cloak" and is not even the main ship. "The vessel", where you have all your gameplay features, flies into combat on every loading screen you ever loaded, is all I am saying. So don't come around town saying it doesn't belong in combat or that it never is in combat. [>The point]: And so, one of the mistakes of railjack was removing all the reasons to get attached to it, including but not limited to, blocking the ship formerly known as orbiter's amenities.
  14. I was saying warframe is a frame by frame copy-paste of metroid, right down to the loading screen and the sexuailzation you see in the final gif. ... so why not go all the way and including ball mode, grappling hook and advanced movements such as super speed. I was assuming you'd laugh but also be a little sad when you noticed how everything was an unoriginal clone of a superior game from 1994.
  15. Factually incorrect. Everytime you go into combat, you fly down to a a hostile planet in your orbiter. Did you miss every loading screen before every map you played? lol... In the case of hijack mission, you even straight up see the orbiter flying into the combat zone. In so far as cloaking, again total fantasy on your part. Which to my point is what the game is, fantasy, so peace on to that. By all means bend the narrative to your own fantasy. I am really more concerned about getting people to enjoy gameplay that makes sense, so that door swings both ways. You can't suddenly decide there are strict rules but when you are out here making random stuff up. Gameplay first, then you can tell yourself whatever you want after. ... because like I said, a second ship, with no gameplay features on it, is not a good gameplay decision. And, seeing as railjack failed not once but twice, I don't think it's a stretch to say it has problems and needs changes.
  16. I believe there are already several examples of the orbiter being brought into combat. And I'd use the reversed argument, how little sense it makes to live in an unarmed FOB... during a war. Further, it would make sense if the orbiter attached to something larger, in the exact same way the landing craft attaches to the orbiter. Not that any of that matters, since it's science fiction and fantasy and it's a video game. The only real question is does the gameplay make sense. And I am saying giving you a new ship, that has all the gameplay features blocked, cannnot be gameplay quality justified. The less it can do, the less reason to use it... obviously.
  17. If it was pure space combat, with no arty gun and no foundry, archwing could be used and there were tasks for 4 players, they added build diversity and more abilities, it still has a chance. Personally I'd also let people move in and live on the railjack with all their orbiter rooms and features unlocked, to increase attachment. I mean I have no idea why we had to have an additional ship, with less gameplay on it, when people had already had orbiter and unlocked skins for it but ok. Orbiter should have been railjack.
  18. Heheh, way ahead of you, you are missing corrupted and desert skate. And also using khora specter for a venari. Not to mention a clem one. And MOA. The question was if you could have different warframe ones, vapor, phase, etc. at the same time. Both wukong and nekros specter are disabled while atlas' rumblers have a cooldown. But thanks anyway.
  19. Whoa wow wait a minute, you can have more than 1 specter? As in warframe specters?
  20. DCUO's mistakes included but not limited to, being a fake f2p with a 1200 "cash" limit and all that, so no trading, gated maps you can only play daily or weekly and having a kick feature. If you compare DCUO to Warframe it's going to be a list of all the things DCUO did wrong, where they even had one of the strongest IPs and still messed it up.
  21. If everything was in co-op as it should be, we wouldn't have any of these problems. Especially all the lore quests feel extra disconnected when you can't play them with friends.
  22. The broken golden hand map where it doesn't spawn, is when you spawn where there is a big open round space in front of you, it's a specific map. Then I don't remember if it helped any to pick lower level maps for the NPCs in the void and group vs solo scaling - it might be a better grind alone. And I think people cheesed it with mesa, if they weren't interested in the xoris or had deleted it. If you don't have mesa I have a mesa prime set you can have if you want.
  23. lol. It's like that time a woke reporter asked someone if Han Solo could be bi-sexual? "Er... anything is possible". "You never know". Corporate platitudes, you could probably trace the same 5-10 phrases on rotation for warframe streams too.
