When you tried to access the Forums you got a page that said "Complete Your Profile" and had to choose a display name and enter your email address to create an account right? Exact same thing happened to me but after an hour or so I now have access to my NSW forum profile again. Not sure why that happened in the first place though. Anyway, I'm just glad cross save went smoothly. Already started playing on PC, what a difference :) -
I suggest editing the title of your post and add "relaunching the game several times fixes it" or something like that.

Same issue here. Only 13 achievements automatically unlocked when I launched the game. I have way more than that. I tried relaunching but that did not fix it for me. edit: Never mind. I relaunched the game for a third or fourth time just now and I’m getting a lot of achievements unlocked.

Thank you! Was able to link my Switch account to my newly created PC account. No issues at all! Quick and simple. Finally!! 😁

Those who bought Prime Access just so they can have cross save in Phase 2 did it on their own. No one forced them to do that. You can’t say cross save costs $50. It’s free for all. Some people just can’t wait and if they want to spend money just to be eligible for the phase 2 cross save then that’s on them.

Cross save is free. I don’t understand what you mean by paying $50 for early access. Also, I definitely am not one of those who would defend DE and say they were rushed. Lol. Cross save was announced back in 2021 (but was in development way before that) and we were told it would be launching in 2022 but then we’ve had several delays. We’ve been waiting for cross save for years and I think they had plenty of time to work on it. And yes after several delays they’ve given us a final release date for it. Anyway, I suggest asking your questions in Players helping players or General discussion subforums or the Warframe subreddit and you’ll get answers from those who already completed their cross save.

Honestly everything is clear and the FAQ and instructions are detailed and simple to understand. The few players who lost some of their progress chose to link instead of merge or chose the wrong primary account. Those who did the cross save process correctly did not lose anything and literally every one of them said everything went smoothly. Basically they’re giving us two options: Merging or Linking. Read through the post and the FAQ linked in OP’s post for a detailed explanation but basically if you play Warframe on more than one platform and you want to keep the progress of all those accounts then what you want to do is Merge. You merge all your progress together. If you play Warframe on one platform only say Xbox for example and you also want to start playing on PC now that cross save is a thing, here you want to link and when it asks you what you want to set as your primary account you choose Xbox because that’s the account that has all your progress.

They said *before* the end of the year. And it was supposed to be released together with Whispers in the Wall. It’s Thursday already here, I just woke up expecting to see an announcement that the next phase has begun but no. I really hope they don’t leave the rest of us waiting till January.

I wish they would be more specific and tell us how many phases there will be and who they are. Phase 1: Founders Phase 2: PC Prime Access owners Phase 3: ?????

Someone asked this on Reddit… Q: Did you have anything sitting in the forge on either account? And did it pass over to the merged acc? say u got a built forma chilling on the xbox acc, and a built weapon chilling on the pc, did u get both of them in foundry on the merged acc? A: Yup, I had a bunch of built weapons that are now sitting in my foundry from my PC account.

That’s correct. If you have a PC account and you choose that as your primary and have it linked to your Xbox account it will override all your Xbox progress. Merge means progress from different platforms will merge as one. So if you have progress in one platform only then you link since there’s no point in merging in this case.

Has nothing to do with cross save. Unfortunately this happens sometimes when playing on the Switch when there’s a lot going on in game.

Accounts created after Nov. 24 can link but not merge.

They announced cross-save in 2021 yes but it was in development before that. Also, it was supposed to release in 2022 but then was delayed several times.

They said the cross save rollout phases would take only days but yeah I hope the rest of us get an update. Really hoping cross save becomes available for all before winter holidays start.

Okay which means the progress you lost was your choice. You chose to have your “PC account that had very little progress” as your primary account.

You did it wrong. You said you linked. You chose to link when you should’ve merged. You linked and chose your Xbox account as your primary account which means you carried over your Xbox progress to PC and did an overwrite. The process worked correctly and as intended, the problem is you didn’t choose the correct method. -

From the FAQ page: WHY ARE ACCOUNTS PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN AN ACCOUNT MIGRATION INELIGIBLE FOR THE ONE-TIME ACCOUNT MERGE? In all past account migrations, copies of the original accounts were created for the newly introduced platform. This means that any migrated account has two versions in existence. Previously these existed in separate ecosystems, but with Cross Platform Save they occupy a single Warframe ecosystem. Accounts involved in migration cannot be remerged into each other or Merged into any other account due to another version of the account and its inventory existing. While these accounts cannot be Merged, they can still take part in Account Linking. Selecting the Warframe account you wish to prioritize as your Primary Account will allow you to access it across all platforms.
