I had no use for them in the beginning, but I collected them anyway from alerts whenever they popped up as I realized I didn't get that stuff from anywhere else and would likely need it at some point. And yep they are indeed needed for a lot of frames and weapons when you start building things, especially when you get into Dojo research. Even if I had a good amount to start off with, they were all spent quickly. Just gotta be lucky with the drops and not get too hung up on the things that require it. It's unfortunate that resource boosters don't affect it, which I think it should. As someone else mentioned I'm surprised you have reached MR13 without realizing this sooner 😄 As with many things in WF it's just something you figure out in time, unless you're guided by someone. I am however kind of in the same boat with Tellurium though, which I didn't take seriously at the beginning as very few things required it at that time. It can be farmed but is a rare drop and generally a pain of boredom. Mostly you'll only need 1-5 for things that require it, but in some cases you'll need 20-30 which just feels insane. Like that's the point - you can't really do much about if you're playing healthy gaming hours (admit it, playing more than 3 hours every day is a bit unhealthy), there is no way to farm, to buy or anything. besides caches from void sabotage but even that is like what? 1% or something? I also work about 8 to 10 hours daily... it's ok if you just play a few hours a day and ignore all chats but then dont come to the forums and cry that you cant build a frame that requires a lot of time investment! Well there are plenty of other ways to know about alerts. When I'm in game I'm always in missions and no way I can read region chat. You also get alerts with drops during missions and you can always check alerts at Navigation while on so not reading chat doesn't make me at fault of not owning nitains. Also I came here to ask if there isn't any other way to get them besides what I was able to research and I got my answer, I didn't come to cry. And I got my answers. And I got my answers. I looked it up, Ghoul bounties have a 6% chance to drop Nitain, so it's farmable, kinda. Would still suggest the normal way to farm it though. I have a stock pile of like 20-30 of them, so I stooped paying attention, however https://twitter.com/WarframeAlerts pay attention to that and its not too hard. you can set up alarts and stuff for yourself when one pops up. No, that's why ALL of Vauban P's BP's were flagged as RARE drops, which has absolutely nothing to do with resource requirements. On topic, 2 - 4 Nitain for an item is not too bad, that's a couple of days waiting for alerts to pop up and you get 4 in total each day. I agree it can be a pain to have to wait for the alert to show, but it could be worse. When you want to grab something like Vauban P? Yeah, that can be really tedious.
