Pavlov (Lau) Level 80-100

Mission : Disruption

Augmented Enemy Shields

Corpus with shield ospreys with beefed up shields. nullifiers. Conduit debuffs. (No Energy, no life.)

Defend 8 conduits - yeah right. Way to be accessible to lower to mid level players.

Failed twice -  I'll pass thanks. Probably only get a pineapple for it anyway

I'm all for challenging missions, but the rewards should match the challenge.

Have Sortie missions get progressively and significantly more difficult, with one chance to do the mission. When you complete all three missions or fail one of them, you get your drop, with a different drop table depending on how many you do. Alternatively, have little extra side quests that let you tack on difficulty to amp up the rewards. Did you complete the insanely difficult daily challenge? Awesome, the drop table has way better stuff. Did you fail? No worries, you still get a drop, but there will be some junk in the mix.

There's nothing wrong with content being hard, the problem is when there's no incentive to do the things that are difficult and/or fun when grinding is more rewarding.

Use the right element on your gun or just take saryn and enemy shields suddenly don't matter at all! Mindblowing, right?

Use toxic or gas,as they can bypass shields...also saryn's 3 gives toxic damage,which also can be handy to deal with corpus.

Level 100 is not intended to be mid-level. It's about as high as it gets, (outside of endless missions, where staying beyond rotation C is something endurance runners do just for the hek of it 'cos they're into that type of thing).

Wait till you fight Lvl 100 Lephantis with extra armor. Oh the joy of bullet sponge TO THE MAX. There are some sorties that aren't worth doing. You've discovered one of them. Make a list, it's useful when you decide you don't want to throw yourself at a brick wall and instead play the rest of the game.

holy S#&$ ikr?! by far the hardest sortie i've done in a long time

usually my mesa's 4 can chew any enemy to pieces but she barely made a scratch so in the end i succeeded by using my chroma and magnetic + gas kuva kohm

Disruption was definitely a tough one. We weren't much prepared and struggled a bit tbh. And advice though, Hildryn to handle corpus, shields and lack of energy. Sometimes you need to be smarter than the game itself. ^ ^
