The Most Overrated Mod In Warframe

Recommended Posts

Heavy Calibur.

For Nikana/s u definitely want some sort of stance mod. But Decisive J is good enough if not better in many cases.

Any rifle with a low crit chance that doesn't have it's accuracy really hurt by heavy caliber should have one on it.  Ex why the hell wouldn't you put a heavy cal on a boltor prime?

Intensify/Blind Rage. Why hit something harder than normal when you can just hit more with Streamline/Fleeting Expertise? Except for pure caster builds which eschew all defensive mods in favor of more abiity modifiers (which are often glassy and full of their own share of problems versus a more balanced approach), they're wasted slots.

Many are saying Heavy Caliber. You're forgetting that you're supposed to use it only on several specific weapons (Ignis anyone? Heavy Caliber is godlike on it). Of course you can be a silly person and stick it on Braton or Soma...

Probably most overrated is Flow. Sounds like must have until you realize that with energy regen and power efficiency mod your actual max power is irrelevant.

And Flux?

Haven't gotten to use that one yet. Will keep it in mind, though.

Natural Talent.

It can be useful but only with an extremely small number of abstract builds, otherwise it just wastes space.

Nekros and Trinity, as well as Ember and even Mag, can benefit from it a lot. Nekros especially, with his annoyingly long cast times. Being able to cast Desecrate more times before bodies vanish is nice too.

I think some ppl here have no idea when to use corrupted mods such as blind rage or heavy caliber.

If you equip redirection and vitality, you have pretty much all the defensive mods you need, the other slots can indeed fit blind rage as it can for example:

 - raise the power of many abilities

 - raise the number of shadows of nekros 4th

 - raise the potency of sonar

 - .......

Heavy caliber is pretty good on accurate weapons, players that complain about the accuracy loss are probably players that use a hush mod on silent weapons, pointless.

The idea is to use on weapons that have really good accuracy, not on weapons that have low accuracy, i tought that was obvious.

Most overrrated mod?

Primed chamber

A Radial Blind Exca with Natural Talent can reliably pop it even in emergencies, and the increased speed of Radial Jav isn't bad either.

the Cicero and Tethra mods, seriously the price these people would give can be ridiculous.

Uh, those Dual Stat mods are ridiculous.

Malignant Force: +60% Toxin Damage, +60% Status Chance for 7V

OR

Infected Clip: +90% Toxin Damage for 11V

Rifle Aptitude: +15% Status Chance for 9D

So you gain 45% Status Chance, lose 30% Toxin Damage, but spend 13 less points and 1 less mod slot.

And you can't understand why people want this mod? lol. You crazy? It is even worse since there are no ways to get this mod now.

This, guns like the grakata benefit immensely from these.
