Community 2015 Wish List For Warframe *please Read First Paragraph Before Posting*

In order of importance IMO:

 

-Fix the progression in Warframe. This game is an RPG yet lacks any kind of solid progression. It feels like a MMOFPS progression system forcibly smacked onto an RPG based game

 

-Add in real recoil instead of the frankly obnoxious screen shake we have (see here: http://twowordbird.com/articles/csgo-recoil-mechanics/ )

 

-Fix the free-running, e.g. smoother movement, won't get obstructed by tiny little bumps in the wall, ability to wall-run more than just vertical or horizontal

 

Well, technically, this game isn't an RPG...

-have mission splits with archewing missions, half way through a mission the ship esplodes and you have to use your archewing to escape or vice versa.

 

-more variation to sayandas. Ie- capes, cowls, hoods, ect

 

-Different color palettes for texture based, like metallic, candy coat, glossy, matte color textures.

Archwing fixing, balancing and expansion. Lots of potential, just needs more.

Free-running 2.0.

Reworking/buffing the lackluster frames/weapons/mods to bring them on par with others.

For God's sake please stop trying to fix inherent problems with frames/weapons/game mechanics with mods. You're getting better at this, it hasn't happened much lately. Maybe 2015 can be a year with out it happening at all?

More syndicate weapon mods.

Make syndicate weapon mods that work for single weapons also work with their dual counterparts.

Give us some thing to do with resources we have an excess of. I'm at 1.17 million alloy plates and counting.

- relay( or other civilian location) defense mission hold off the grineer/corpus/infested while civilians rush to escape pods/evacuate the town. That could be some intense fun.

- real boss fights that require real strats and teamwork. That way I can get recruit some of my old mmorpg playing buds who won't touch this game due to lame boss fights.

- raids, 8 player battles against super bosses.

- parallel progression, a new "something" like the void but not. Kind of like OD's. With new "not prime" but kinda similar gear.

- Void trader that sells prime parts for ducats. (And I am fine with a horridly unfair ratio!) just someway to get that obstinant part other than the despised RNG hell.

- space pirate faction that prey on corpus/grineer and civilians. But with a portal key we could gain access to their hidden asteroid bases. Although be wary if you have a hydroid on your team lol.

My wishlist for 2015 prolly sounds very similar to others.

 

I wish frames like Ember, Nekros, and Limbo to get another look and have their powers/stats revisited.

 

I wish for them to give the combo system a look at. The number drops so fast it's hard to 'keep it going'.

 

I wish for more mission types! In an outside of the Void. (Void Archwing could be neat too.)

 

I wish they would look at the drop tables for certain Void missions, and distribute the rewards more evenly. Mag Prime should be better at hide and seek.

 

I got a lot more but, it's not worth writing down.

 

Hopefully 2015 will be a good year!

less skewed RNG and no forma on rotation C void would be a good place to start.

Glad I am not the only one like this. Rotation "C" is kind of like the big reward and then you get a forma and are like what is this crap. Rewards from AAB shouldn't be better than C but sadly all I have been getting from C waves are forma.

1. Make forma a less common drop (it used to be rare, you know :l)

2. Add more syndicate mods for weapons.

3. Add more tiles to existing tilesets.

4. Make treasure rooms in void vessels more rewarding.

5. Improve dojo features

- rooms&decorations

- INTERACTIVE decorations

- trading

6. Add more quotes to Ordis... or more cephalons other than Ordis to cooperate on our Liset?

7. Make Primed Chamber come back :3

8. Add more weapons for "Sword and Shield" category. There's not too much, you know. A new tonfa or bow (an elemental one) would be much appreciated too x3

I would like a review system for warframes where they look at the weakest or most unused frames each month and focus on making them better. Like hydroid i really like him i want to use him on high level missions but their will always be a better frame for what im trying to do with his build which is unfortunate.

Excal buff following the various forum posts in warframe feedback (more then 65 armour - preferably 120+)

Energy bow

Spear

Super greatsword - dark souls/2 style like the placeholder you use

Dedicated slots for health etc to give us more freedom to mod (I'm hoping for 2 max power damage mods per frame to keep it balanced)

A review of melee/stamina to make late game melee viable with most if not all frames

A way of being a dedicated caster into late game - ie, no weapons but your lmb/rmb are dedicated spells/attacks whilst you use 1-4 when needed along with a major boost to energy regen along with ability damage

Quit lying to our faces regarding changes.

I.E. Viver gate , drop tables encryption , void nerf.

You want to make changes because its hurting your business? SAY SO.

You feel syndicate keys were bypassing all that grind you designed and you wish we grind some more? SAY SO.

 

Improve communications MASSIVELY.

It's been over a year of people telling DE how the communication between us is terribly vague.

No change has been made, stealth changes a plenty , no explanations for anything.

 

 

I'd like em to do that.

 

was it about it hurting their business or more about trying to find an equal ground between the haves and have nots?

Oh, also, a more serious take on Warframe's bosses. Alad V was silly enough. I don't want Tyl Regor and Kela de Thaym to be silly and stupid.

This. Definitely would like to see both of those things (I want the option to replace the Lotus with the Syndicates for everything...)

My current wishlist:

 

 - Change drop cycle from ABAC rinse repeat to something like ABAC, ABBC, AACC, ABCC, ACCC, BCCC, CCCC so that the rewards get progressively better as you stay in for extreme lengths.

  -- Just add one to the last progression not at C. Change all before to A once a C hits. and then reset once CCCC has been completed.

 

 - Make it so that if you got something from a reward table, it does not show up again in the same table lookup that mission..

    -- basically, if you get a forma (or even prime part - anything!) from an A table drop for example, it doesn't show in any other A table drops again unless some team actually cycles the entire A table list in that exact mission. Allows for more variety (though less R5 cores)

    -- For overlapping things (forma) you can still get 3 - one from each table ABC so duplication can still happen.

 

 - Update to trading (I hear it is coming so I'll just say I'm happy it's being worked on)

 

 - More rotation of various tables throughout the system...

    -- perhaps the tables could just semi-randomly change due to invasions so that any planet recently invaded (even if not taken) could have left over drops from whatever invaded (or was there previously) for a short time? This encourages more high level players to play the entire map

 

 - More PVP (I hear its coming so again, I'm happy its being worked on)

 

 - Stealth 'restore' - consumable that will make tenno stealthed for duration - specifically this increases the usefulness of sniping. Generally Tenno are very mobile and so using sniper rifles isn't.... frankly Tenno. Having this and allowing someone to say camp a defense board and assist the team by sniping safely seems very useful.

   -- Also, specifically for this, the Tenno won't move. So consideration should be given to not punishing an active player who is actually shooting in this way on 'unending' missions the way that current AFK players are affected. Perhaps note shots hitting actual enemies? I dunno...

 

 - More syndicate interactions

  -- example perhaps 2 allied syndicates will mix their ambush teams if you're hated by both?

  -- also, maybe more trade tax for trading with those hated and less for those not? This may be a very bad idea but would be novel... Maybe only matters for syndicate items?

 

 - A reason to actually scan

 

 - Reintroduce arcane helmets but allow them to be skin modified so looks still don't affect gameplay? AKA can rebuild them in the foundry unlimited times to change the look to any other helm look but keep stat changes.

 

 - Especially on high level boards, increase the number of targets in sabatoge missions.

 

 - Create Tenno ambush alerts where Tenno must stealth to a point and then turn the mission to exterminate

   -- Perhaps have multiple 'optional' points with different drop tables reflecting different difficulty?

 

 - Create Tenno VIP bodyguard alerts where Tenno must escort a VIP the entire time and VIP chooses route and somewhat speed.

   -- Have a timer so that a pinned VIP causes a mission loss too.

   -- Have route waypointed (green marker) so Tenno can still go ahead a tile too (but not more without simply exploring).

 

 - Display number of syndicate marks (0/8) in opening sequence of syndicate missions.

 

 - Display number of marks and affinity bonus condition in mission summary status ('p' by defualt I think) during mission so that if I missed it, I can look it up.
