This will be to let them know how disappointed we are in what they've done to the Synoid Gammacor with the release of U16 in the hopes of restoring its former glory with our overwhelming support. If you're in opposition to this then by all means please ignore this thread and by direct result the ensuing petition. If you're indifferent because you didn't care for the SG then please consider that your favorite weapon may be next on the slate for uh..."re-balancing". Tesseract_The_Pariah Posted March 24, 2015 Share Posted March 24, 2015 (edited) The synoid gammacor was, quite frankly, RIDICULOUS.It was ammo efficient, high damage, high accuracy, high status chance, and it was naturally magnetic. It tore through everything and didn't stop to do so much as take a &!$$. And on top of that it occasionally exploded everything.It's perfectly fine as it is now. Stop expecting to be able to just hold down the right mouse button/controller trigger and walk through this game. That's poor design and DE needs to nip it in the bud more often. When you yourself ran into someone with a synoid gammacor while you were trying to level your own weapons/warframes, they would spawn camp and kill everything to the point that you would only get the shared xp. when this happened to me it would literally only get a lvl 10 rifle up 1.5 levels on a booster. if I didn't and actually had a chance to shoot something it would bring me up 5 levels. Though I think the nerf went a bit too far (5x ammo consumtion would of been more workable) the weapon was insane and needed re-balancing. On a side note, ran the raid the other day and the entire raid (sans me) were all using the Vaykor Marelok... all hail the new reinstated king. I thought nerfing the most popular secondary weapon in the game would garner nothing but love from the players!" This was probably a difficult decision for them to implement, but they did so with the long term health of the game in mind.
