8gbMoreRAM
Aww! I was hoping to use it exclusively in high level missions. If I'll get taken down quickly, what's the point? Maybe it'll get patched in later? Please Edited June 17, 2015 by 8gbMoreRAM
Gelkor
It's as I feared. Well, the auto-parry should help with durability, but seriously, lifestrike/health on hit is kinda required for melee-only mode/abilities IMO, this is going to make it difficult at higher difficulties. I suppose rely heavily on the spin attack blind but, still, seems like a massive oversight to me.
GreyEnneract
Also if an enemy is skilled before you finish your slash dash animation, you get stuck in it forever.

Avenwing
That's stupid, why would they do this considering how much they love their stupid toxin/bleed procs?
Allenaattori
Neither does the augment affect the damage of the dashes... or any mod equipped in your melee. I hope it's gonna be changed, cause it's pointless like this.
Gr3vi3R
Guys it's day 1... they will probably fix and allow some mods in.
LordOfScrugging
hopefully it's just a bug. it really kills the buzz if you have no way of regaining life while in ult

Still have to point it out, considering they released the rework without catching it. Assuming it's a bug of course and not an intended feature. Tikka_Qrow
IIRC it doesn't work with Valkyr's ult either. If Excal's ult only allows the same mods as Valkyr's ult does then he's limited to True Steel, Pressure Point, Organ Shatter, Spoiled Strike and specific Syndicate mods like Bright Purity and Justice Blades. Allenaattori
False alarm. The Lotus said the damage is enhanced by melee mods... DE, fix ples. Ok, it also seems DE is on it... https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/476499-pc-1690-excalibur-feedback-megathread/ aw yiss Edited June 17, 2015 by CookingFood

Valkyr's ult has inherent life strike so there's no need for life strike to affect her ult, she also get invulnerability. That said DERebecca just confirmed that his new 4 is bugged (it's not inheriting mods) and that there will be a hotfix tonight. Fari
*snip* Original post proven wrong. Side note, yeah: lifestrike works fine after the update, even without channeling, but only with direct melee instead of ranged. GreyEnneract
While they're at it, they should fix Hysteria as well to allow range mods, channel mods, etc.
