Cosmetics like armor and Sentinel accessories had, but those aren't quite skins. Pretty dang steep, but I suppose DE was banking on it being a high demand item? No cash involved. /thread Armor costs platinum, 5 times more plat than a skin for a full set, and can be used on every frame. Eos Prime armor cost 355 ducats for the full set Prisma Deadalus cost 410 ducats for the full set. Day of the Dead Dark Sword skin cost 320 and is only usable on one weapon. No cash involved. /thread Yes. But this skin shouldn't have even been given to baro to begin with. No other time of year would make sense for this to return- and if it returns in his inventory every year it's going to be annoying that week knowing it's going to replace something else that we might have gotten instead. This skin should have just been in the market like everything else. I'm all for cosmetics without having to spend real money- I love that part of Baro. But this is a special skin that is part of a set- of which the rest are time limited, and celebrates a certain holiday, and doesn't fit the theme of the game in general. As someone above said- armor useable on every frame in the game is still cheaper- or around the same price- as a SET as this SINGLE skin for a sword that almost seems like they forgot to add it into the market and gave it to baro instead. You've produced no argument that proves that it is actually overpriced. Now, if you were to give a value to Dukats, which, in our current market is around 4plat for 40 (being overly generous) you'd end up at 32 plat for this skin, compared to other DotD skins that are all priced at 20plat. That would prove your point. However, people who play too much have backstock of Dukats just sitting around, and everytime something is released, DE sets the price based on average resource per person. Is that fair? Not to people who play below average times. But for everyone else? We don't mind the price because we have too many Dukats. Charge 100. Charge 1,000. It makes no difference. I have digital numbers in a video game with no value other than to use on BaroKi'Crap. Nobody uses the dark sword, nobody is going to actually use this skin.
