Archwing, Fun Or Nah?

It's ok, but still needs more work and variety to make it interesting. And imo, archwing and arch weapon parts should be made tradeable. Dealing with RNG to get the parts can be annoying. Or at least add alternative ways to obtain them(like enemy drops or obtainable from regular on-foot missions)

It has potential.

The problems come from advancement.

Acquiring new Archwings and Archwing weapons is a painful, painful grind. The components are difficult to find, especially when you factor in which ones drop from high-level content, which you really need the more powerful equipment to handle. Similarly, getting mods that increase your health, shields, and damage is a frustrating experience. I know Archwing experience has been increased, but levelling is still quite slow. Especially with the change to Intercept availability, with the easiest Intercept mission now being quite high in enemy level.

The end result is that a lot of the player base has weak gear that they can't maximise due to a lack of mods, which in turn means they struggle with more difficult Archwing content.

Enemy scaling and damage also needs to be looked at- there's a very narrow range where enemies are appropriately powerful compared to the players. Most of the time they're either a lot weaker, or so much stronger than us, even with maxed equipment, that staying alive is difficult. Especially with the lack of healing or crowd control Archwings and the relative lack of cover.

It's a work in progress. It is a lot better than it used to be, but there's still considerable room for improvement.

Too many problems.
Loot is very hard to collect and spot and find.

Enemies are too far for most weapons - and when they get suddenly close, you get swarmed.
Rather slow affinity rate still.
Same old game modes.

Linear maps with 0 reason to explore.
