I guess it's 4 Go erasing bits of previous data, or is it really 4 additional Go?(I'm a maniac about my HDD space)

I trust you while I'm writing from my Gameboy color...

Mostly replacing, yep

Just don't break nothing which is not broken. If you guys do, you have go back and fix it lol. Looking forward to the update, but the game already looks good lol.

Well, that's pretty much how agile development works.
It's embrace change not don't change a running system.

So there you have it, Tenno. 4+ GB of content explained, and now it's time for me to go back to the team and bring this Update across the finish line to come out on PC soon.

Oh S#&$. Probably not gonna be this week.

Are you going to compress the amount of gb that warframe takes up on ps4? After this update it will take close to 15%of the memory on a standard ps4.

They're going to delete roughly 4 gigs of graphics data and replace it with the new stuff, so your installation footprint shouldn't change much beyond the new content you'll be seeing (new 'frame, Kavats, and a new tileset)

I'm actually more interested about impact on performance.

Disk space is cheap, but 59 FPS is not acceptable :-)

Steve commented they optimized the crap out of this, so you'll probably not see any changes in performance, though YMMV in that regard.

They update on Tuesdays, so expect an update on March 8.

Just be thankful I'm not in charge of the update schedule.  Warframe's third anniversary of Open Beta is at the end of the month.  I'd have released 18.5 then.  Update, and anniversary weapons at the same time!

PC Minimum spec remains unchanged. Combined with the optimizations mentioned, our tests are showing 18.5 as a better looking Warframe with 18.0 or better performance on an array of toasters and beastly GPUs!

Yes! finally #scaryfastGPUlivesmatter. Are we making our way to DX12 support?

4gb? Guess I gotta leave my WF updating while I sleep.

But still, I'm kinda hoping for a good amount of new and quality content. Looking forward to the graphical improvements you're gonna roll in along with that new frame.

Keep up the good work.

Isn't DX12 Win10 only?

Afaik it doesn't bring much feature wise beside better multithreading support.
