Bard Warframe Speculation, Discussion and Feedback Thread

To be fair, the more we go into the game the less easy it is to find new ideas for frames, and make them work with all the game systems in place, and the less time they have with all the projects they have going. Still I am not making excuses for them, I am explaining.

Theres ton's of concepts floating around, loads shown on devstreams, all the ideas and hell even some designs are there, all they have to do is create and "balance" it.

...and make sure all Syndanas fit without clipping, armor can be positioned correctly, make sure all the animations can play on the new frame correctly, make sure all weapons can be held, fired and holstered...

Game development is never as simple as "all they have to do". If all the edge cases are covered, tested and work correctly, we never notice the other stuff they had to do to make it work (true ninjas).

Some frames and deluxes still have clipping and even then why did we go from 5 to 2 in a rather dry year of content, sure they put some hard work in here and there but most of this year was wasted on "revamps" and changing scripts.

And now that they know what they did wrong, they can do it right the next year.

Making a model not so hard, texturing, rigging still not so hard, animating is a bit hard here, because they need to use the baseline movesets (copy paste) and add the unique frame movesets and idles. This takes time and that too when they try to fixing the position with each weapon because mostly that is what they need to test each weapon is correctly handed by the frame and clipping issues. They could make more frames with ease too because there is a tons of ideas to make and a theme not mean only one frame can be there so whom saying we have already this or that those peoples a bit narrowminded and cannot imagine the possiblities.

The pre and after work which is hard to make a frame but when they have time they can add a lot more. Personally I would like this same mentality in balancing and buffing old content instead of bandaid solutions because I never liked if a job half done or partly good done when could be fine.

clipping lets not talk about clipping when the new holstered system positions are clip central

Name Effect
Pied Piper Causes all enemies follow you and lose aggro on party members. Bring them to the choke point if they're being uncooperative.
Tuned Up A multi strike melee effect where you chain hits with your space lute.
Amplifier Increases damage of your party, natch.
Drop D You play the "brown" note, all enemies hearing it will poop their pants, causing confusion and movement slowdown. Ineffective against enemies without pants.
