A Good AoE DPS warframe

Hello everyone, im looking for a power efficent, area of effect dps frame. Prefferably not ember because i hate the press 4 to win mindset. For sortie level enemies. Would be appreaciated if you can post a build along side the frame you are mentioning, Focus is primarily grineer. Any opinions would be gladly appreaciated!

Maybe it's different for you then but I find using Resonator severely drops my DPS
as enemies just follow it around rather than shoot Mallet and thus create a massive death zone.

this is true

resonator stops enemies from shooting while they are charmed. if you want to use resonator drop mallet and wait for it to build up for a few seconds then drop resonator.

 

also for op i like saryn. technically not dps but halving your enemies health is no joke.

Might I suggest Titania? Her Spellbind and Lantern have pretty decent control and the enemies can't shoot you or your team. With a pretty good amount of power strength and duration Lantern can tear up a crowd with its DoT. Or you can spec 200% strength and low duration for a 3 second nuke.
(Lantern does have some issues sometimes but I find it reliable 4 times out of 5).

And if you don't like Bladestorm, then I think you do prefer a Press 4 to win frame.

Your argument is so dumb it's not even funny. Besides his bladestorm is pretty much press 4 and flail your mouse around to win.

You want a powerful AoE that isn't Press 4 to win? That is impossible as that is what Press 4 to win is all about.

My answer: Nezha's divine spears or Mag's Crush. Banshee Quake is also very good with the augment. I also have to mention Spore Saryn with Torid/Zenistar. Frost and Limbo just doesn't scale and Ash is just Tr(ash). Octavia does well but not compared to Banshee/Mag/Nezha in terms of DPS exclusively.

One fun combo is Ivara + Zenistar.
Activate Navigator, toss out the disc, fly around as a UFO of doom :D

Or, who needs ability damage when they can spam e.g. Penta and Kulstar
with reckless abandon while protected by Assimilate / Defy?

Equinox' Maim is at least a bit more interactive / burst-y than e.g. World On Fire, FWIW.

Nova's Antimatter Drop, especially coupled with your Shottie of choice for quick charging
(I like Acid Shells Sobek for even more blasty goodness on kills), is always a hit at (my kind of) parties.

Besides Butchers & co, do disarmed enemies deal significant damage to each other?

1) cast Radial Disarm
2) toss out Zenistar disc
3) place Decoy on disc
4) laugh maniacally

[Torid clouds or e.g. Penta 'nades should work as an alternative.]

using only the ability yes, that's going to take lot's of time, and with high armored grineer even more, using that combo yes, that would be fun

zenistar takes 300+ logins... most newer users cant get that for a while ...
