Zytin_
So i understand that warframe is a f2p game and warframe needs to make money someway but why? Cant it be costed credits instead? Spartan336
Something like that could cost credits, but I don't see it happening. If you're talking about the market as a whole, then I strongly disagree. Whats the point of buying plat if it's only used for a few things? Plus people would change pet names non stop depending on what's the latest meme/Megan Mumbles/Prime time. FLSH_BNG
Really can't agree. It is mentioned that you should be careful in choosing a name for your pets, especially since it used to be permanent. Renaming yourself costs platinum as well, so it wouldn't be very consistent if they changed the currency for one instance of a rename and not for the other. I mean, if you really need to rename something then you have the option to; but again, if you don't like the name you gave the first time then you may not be very good at naming them in the first place. Pavelord
They have mentioned they have problems with the information capacity in their servers, they probably don´t want to waste space, it could also be that names need to be check for profanity, I know that happen with emblems not sure if they have some filter for pet names, maybe something along those lines. (PSN)Tactless_Ninja
If you don't use it, they'll stop charging for it. Like revives costing plat. So kill your dog, then clone it again just to change a few letters. You're doing god's work.
