  1. Well the amphors do big aoe, so if there's a big mob of a bunch of different invulnerable enemies, then just start hucking all the loose amphors you don't need to the pile. It's not like you need to see them for some reason. That will thin out the mob where you can see the individuals easier. I don't see how they need something additional to a complete body outline glow, plus a pulsing symbol marker on the chest. Most aren't exactly very dangerous in close quarters, and you don't even really have to kill them.
  2. I'm pretty sure they were hardcore trolling with the Duviri quantities. Also, things like diluted thermia and omega isotopes are prime rib for helminth and should do special interaction if you happen to give him those luxurious treats. I agree though and mostly avoid Duviri resources except for a rare rune marrow feeding. While we're at it, the plains cosmetics are just insanely expensive as well. Not that I'll get around to decorating, but its so expensive and I'm gonna farm like 3 days worth for like a stick or something? Decorating is not my strong point and the costs to stockpile what I need to be creative is a lot of effort.
  3. Get your arch gun out for free overguard and use AoE. It should only be an issue if you're trying to do close combat. Also, you could drop a dante specter. This is a perfect situation for overguard. It's why I'd pull out my archgun for infested arb on a shield gate frame, and put it away, then use my aoe weapon and just refresh the overguard. I don't really play SP vs infested much or even know how long overguard will stay up. It will get quickly shredded vs corrupted, but not sure vs infested. Just offering another option to try.
  4. Apparently they have some sort of weird pride with low failure rate of missions, while not caring about very high quitting numbers or I also misunderstand. Maybe, it will take more time if you fail missions and end up not being worth it from a time standpoint. As for people wondering if its worth it. Well that depends on the struggle you have completing and the time it takes. Here is my loot for comparisons sake to two netracell runs:
  5. @Alpha_TangoThanks for sharing. After you posted that, it looked semi hard with the modifiers. Normally I would have just taken operator anyway, but you made me want to go for it. I failed it once with voidrig gunning me down in the first mission in like 2 seconds. I'm not sure if I lost warding halo or what. I had to watch it more closely in the next run. The other two missions weren't bad though. I had good choices with wisp and revenant too, and a bo incarnon. I wasn't able to kill the hands that guard the eyes haha in assassination though with my scourge or quatz, probably because I wasn't building stacks(or modded poorly for that) but still funny.
  6. Haha but why worry about some random scaling container you never see. These only exist to time gate codex completionists. You have 3 hr blessings daily..
  7. This post is 3 weeks away from cheering. The transformation has started.
  8. Uncap the research points and have them continually scale. Also with more rewards. Let me run every modifier available for every mission type. Then set a min research requirement to enter super elite deep, something very high. I want to try this. It would be very fun and challenging trying to keep going. Would I want every single thing on? Maybe not, but I'd like to experiment and try dealing with even more modifiers and tiers. I like the system, but 37 points...you could add two more tiers etc past that and it would certainly be fun to try out.
  9. It depends on the mission. Changing one modifier could make a difference and that's basically 3 modifiers across the entire mission you could change. It seems like they want you to plan it out or collaborate more than having more flexibility to gear for each mission individually. What Tiltskillet proposed sounds fine to me. Side note: It would be cool if they uncapped the research points to like 128 and just let you run everything possible for each mission for fun and big rewards, but had a minimum point required to enter. Haha
  10. They do have indicators. They have the corresponding symbol on their chest plus body outlined in the corresponding color.
  11. I think they have to do it in one run in case you completed the first or second mission and realize you can't do the 3rd(or 2nd if you only passed the 1st). Unless you changed gear. Alternatively, they could split the missions up and lock your gear, whereby changing your gear would force you to start from 1st mission again. I think that would be fine, except maybe they don't want your group disposition to change, but people can already take turns and I guess they don't have a solution to stop that. And maybe that is still decent effort to setup. Solo you can pause at least and take a break and groups are usually faster, but if you lose all your teammates..
  12. As far as I know parkour velocity doesn't really help wukongs 2 that much if that's what you're mainly using to get around, so other frames can definitely be faster by stacking things. PV also helps with vertical movement, but you have motus signal, anti grav array as well where its often overkill on most tiles. Also that stuff is always on, not like having to choose between cloudwalker and parkour on frame, and you can shoot while doing it, and in the case of molt, cast on the fly while doing anything. Molt all day over cloud walker. He is much easier to use and setup though, but everyone knows that.
  13. Slap on a bunch of parkour velocity and Wukong is left in the dust. Who cares about spy? Every frame can go in and out. It's not like invisibility is required. Also, shade exists for only this. He really doesn't offer much. You don't need designated frames for captures, sabotage, rescues, spy etc. Any frame can do those fast, and as fast or faster. Only an extremely experienced optimized titania is hard to keep up with. I personally don't like his 2. That's his healing and get around ability. You can't really shield gate with that, its too slow. So if you're used to shield gating and going fast using parkour, he's not going to be an upgrade. I guess his twin is okay for disruption? So are a lot of frames. He is very overrated, but I don't think buffs would bring me to using him.
  14. Those are good suggestions erv for sure, but they won't necessarily give you incentive to diversify your arsenal as much as an RNG system will. I also don't see small buffs to random things having much of an impact. I think people are failing to take advantage of operator, gearwheel, companion, and the mech. All those are way more useful than any small buff will give. You won't always have those, but between those, RNG, and one modifier you should get a competent setup. Use armor strip from helminth or unairu. Specters and companion DPS. There are some bad weapons out there, but there's also a lot of good weapons being ignored and a randomizer is really the only way to draw attention to those things.
  15. The most annoying thing about Wukong is that he'll prime for your regular melee, but when you use the exalted, he uses it too. Why DE why?? If he primed for you when you use the exalted, that would be amazing. That said he is not bad. Running mot with slam mods, and glad mods, nourish, I oneshot the acolyte with a slam attack, which was cool. It could be a skill issue, but he seems to work much better as a health tank and I'm sure that falls off at some point. oh, I guess you do the priming too, but yeah I find him kind of boring also. His exalted is way behind top melees that's for sure and doesn't really have the range it should have to feel different.
  16. oh, I see what you meant. Well I'm all for just having one EDA run, but DE doesn't even give that to us now. So asking 1 EDA to also cover 3 other netracell runs we're currently doing is a big ask. Also, not sure 30 mins is a standard time for 1 EDA run, maybe for the elite players. Then adding 3 more netracell missions will be received with mixed results from the community I think. Lastly, DE does stand to make some purchases from the RNG system. If it was straight up 30 mins vs 80 mins for same rewards, I'd definitely choose EDA. If its closer, I'm sure many would avoid investing in things or trying to problem solve EDA. I'm not purposely trying to complicate the issue. I just think it is complicated in general, due to a lot of different factors, including how lucrative these systems are for DE from an economic standpoint. They will make significantly less money if the only players engaging with EDA are those with 5+ forma and everything decked out.
  17. It's not really too complicated, just getting clarity. 8 netracell runs is gonna be in the 55-75 min ballpark. 1 EDA, and 3 netracells is in the 50-65 min ballpark. I could be off by 10 mins. My point is, there would be no reason to run EDA for 10-20 min time save tops, maybe less or more depending on what the mission and modifiers are, plus not having to deal with unprepared or failed runs. Please explain why anyone would ever choose EDA over netracells in this spot. They would take nearly the same time and one is brainless, hassle free.
  18. I didn't realize they did this, but yes that is way better. It now scales the healing with the scaling HP of the target. If it was just fixed before, then that becomes useless at higher levels. It was only healing for around 10% of its maxed hp before and 22% now, going based on the numbers in this thread. And if it was a fixed 5k, it doesn't scale at all (more relevant in endless modes). I'm not sure the max hp changes in EDA, but if it does, it's not by very much.
  19. Appreciate the testing, wasn't doubting you, was just trying to wrap my head around it. I guess it makes sense. You don't proc the archon mods by using a weapon, only an ability. The clones are an ability, so whatever they use, will get the corrosive bonus, but they won't proc the archon mods because they are still using a weapon instead of an ability, unless using the exalted melee.
  20. EDA has some variance depending on the modifiers and mission, whether you group up or not. You can speedrun 8 netracells in an hour. I don't really see it being that much faster doing EDA? or 2 EDAs, or just a worthwhile amount faster, but I could be wrong I guess. Maybe its twice as fast on average or 15 mins faster? I think it would become dead just because netracells, you can just jump in and go without thinking, where the extra time saved probably wouldn't be worth messing around with, just my opinion. I'm actually kinda confused on the rewards myself. On wiki it shows 3...you get one per mission for EDA? and then the other stuff is like filler rewards. So I was only counting like 6 rewards, 3 from EDA, 3 from netracells. Then you're changing the two filler rewards to real rewards and adding to netracells. So if you do 1 EDA, then how many netracells do you have to do, still just another 3, with a better table? If its like that, the time is probably still close. Sorry if I'm still a bit off on understanding your proposal. If it's comparable time, I think that would kill the mode is all. Anyway, I don't actually have a good solution, so it's nice you're trying to come up with something and appreciate the friendly discussion.
  21. That's kinda weird. According to wiki, those will proc if the twin is using the exalted melee.
  22. They could have some requirements to enter the mode, although I'm not sure what they would be. There's so many complaining about the RNG, imagine if they implemented it where you had to have things modded out. Also, just because they are modded out, doesn't mean the build will be good or the player will be able to contribute. I did it alone with loki, bronco, ninkondi modless on max, didn't even use abilities, but that was not my first run, just for testing and fun (operator, mech, specters, companion). You can't really tell contributions based on kills on a mission like mirror defense (or other missions either since killing isn't the only way to contribute), where kills aren't required. I watched a friend play and they barely passed because someone else got the glyphs or it was a group effort gathering glyphs that healed the target and prevented a failure at the last seconds. Someone could be gathering and getting no kills and greatly contributing, (also by stripping overguard, shields and armor and/or providing cc or buffs). Sometimes you fail when everyone is contributing, despite what stats show, just because things happen. It requires a lot of focus and attention, or at least, the opposite can lead to quick failures.
  23. Edit, woops, didn't see I already posted, sorry. Yes, I see your proposal. I just think it would be a lot to add on to the weekly already. 8 is a ton haha. I think its okay to have slightly better drops for a harder mode they are trying to make and one that you simply can't buy the tau shards. I think 2 EDA and 2 netracells vs 8 netracells or 1 EDA and 5 netracells,, could have comparable times for some people. EDA would just become dead. It mainly has that lure of a extra reward/better drops. Plus, DE does make money off the RNG system, so they wouldn't get as many people engaging with that, spending plat on reactors/cats/forma etc.
  24. More rewards sounds good. Somehow I don't see them giving out more netracells to match the rewards of EDA. I am not even sure people who only do netracells would be in favor of this since it would take quite a lot of time on top of the weekly things already offered. I'm kinda confused though how adding extra netracells would match EDA, with an extra pulse. Would the extra pulse use up all the netracells as well? Otherwise you could do EDA and the added netracells. I don't think they really want to increase the rate they are giving them out, and if they wanted to adjust EDA to match netracells, I'm sure they could do it without adding to the amount of weeklies. They'd have to buff the netracell tables, where 2 are on par with 1 completed EDA, and that's also assuming people run max EDA, which isn't required. It would just kill EDA. Maybe I'm just not really understanding what you're proposing.
